New Florida Volleyball Camp Location for Nike Sports Camps
Nike Volleyball Camps, a division of US Sports Camps, the largest provider of sports camps in the world, announced a new Florida Volleyball Camp. Camp will be set at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, in the Tampa Bay metropolitan area.
The Nike Volleyball Camp at Eckerd College will host two sessions with both Overnight and Extended Day Camp options. The first session is for girls, ages 10-14, of all skill levels, looking to develop skills and learn with encouraging and experienced coaches. The second session is focused on girls playing high school and club volleyball, ages 15-18, wanting to refine skills and gain position specific instruction.
Camp will be co-directed by Eckerd College Head Womens Volleyball Coach, Michelle Piantadosi-Lima and Eckerd College Assistant Coach, Marcus Dos Santos. Coach Piantadosi-Lima’s joined on in 2012, and had immediate success as head coach of the program resulting in back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Championship South Regional and two runner ups in the Sunshine State Conference standings. 2017 marked her 7th season as head coach at Eckerd College. Dos Santos joined on Eckerd’s coaching staff in 2017 and brought experience as a coach and player in both beach and indoor volleyball.

The Nike Volleyball camp at Eckerd College will focus on improving skill sets through innovative drills, position training, small-sided games, and team driven competition. This camp will provide a unique opportunity to train under college coaches with other focused athletes in a fun but competitive environment.
