Nike 5meter Water Polo to host 11th Annual Winter in the Tropics Camp in Florida

San Rafael, CA - US Sports Camps, Inc. offers Nike sponsored 5meter water polo camps nationwide and is pleased to announce the 11th annual Winter in Tropics Water Polo Camp taking place December 27-30 in Miami, Florida.

Directing the camp is USA Water Polo Olympian, Genai Kerr. "Hosting the Winter in the Tropics camp in Miami, Florida is always one of the highlights of the year,” says Genai Kerr. Genai was a member of the United States Men's National Water Polo Team for 12 years and played in the 2004 Athens Olympics, 2003 & 2007 Pan American Gold Medal games, and multiple World Championships. He is one of the only athletes in history to compete internationally as a goalie and as a field player.

“We focus on in-water instruction on the fundamentals of the game,” says Coach Kerr. “Our winter camp is a tremendous opportunity to train and play with the top players and coaches in the country over the holiday break.”

The Nike 5meter Winter in the Tropics Water Polo Camp is designed for boys and girls ages 8-18 and focuses on fundamental passing, shooting, team and individual defense, along with tactical discipline, and individual aspects of protecting the cage.
