Get ready for an exciting day of dynamic, hands-on pickleball training designed to challenge and elevate your game. Through a variety of fun and highly practical activities, you will refine your skills, improve your strategy, and gain a fresh perspective on pickleball.

This adult pickleball camp is tailored to meet your individual needs, boost your knowledge of the game, and help you level up—all in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment. Whether you are looking to sharpen your technique or just enjoy a fun day on the court, this camp is for you!

    Camp Director

    Sonny is a sponsored coach with Team JOOLA, DUPR Coach with My Pickleball Coach and a Level 2 Clinician for RPO. He also is a strategic consultant and investor in facilities both within the U.S. and Internationally. His coaching and competing experience ranges from domestically within the United States as well as Internationally.

    Co-Director

    Joel has ten years of experience in the sport, has competed at the professional level for three years and has been teaching for the last two years. He was one of the early enthusiasts in the area and recently won the New York Open Championship at the 5.0 level. Joel thrives in live games where he can help adjust strategies and techniques in real time and also loves the fact that pickleball is truly about the community.

CAMP PROGRAM INFORMATION

  • Camp Type(s) Offered: 1 Day Camp (Saturday 9:00am-3:00pm)
  • Gender: Coed
  • Age Range: 18+
  • Skill Level: Advanced Beginner (3.0-3.49) & Intermediate (3.5-4.0)

SKILL LEVELS & GROUP PLACEMENT

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. Participants are then sorted by ability first, then age per the Camp Director's discretion - adjustments are made as needed during camp.

While there are many ways to define skill levels, the following descriptions are what the Camp Directors at Nike Pickleball Camps will use to organize and group camp participants. At the time of registration, please choose the level that best represents your experience:

  • Advanced Beginner: Players at this level are new to pickleball but have a little bit of experience. They can hit basic shots and possess a fundamental understanding of the rules, scoring, and court positioning. Focus is on building confidence and familiarity with the game. (DUPR Rating 3.0 - 3.49)

  • Intermediate: Players at this level understand the rules and strategy of pickleball and can sustain rallies using a mix of shots. They can hit with some spin and accuracy, resulting in fewer unforced errors. Focus is on refining technique, improving court awareness, and developing strategic play. (DUPR rating 3.5 - 4.0)

CAMP CHECK-IN/OUT

  • Check-in: Saturday between 8:30am and 9:00am at the pickleball courts
  • Check-out: Saturday at 3:00pm at the pickleball courts

DAILY CAMP SCHEDULE

Saturday (9:00am-3:00pm)
  • 9:00am – 9:30am:
    • Check-in, warm-up, and match play for evaluation.
  • 9:30am – 9:45am:
    • Introductions of players and staff along with review of the plan for the day.
  • 9:45am – 10:45am:
    • Focus on strategy, shot selections and techniques at the non-volley zone (NVZ) including how to attack, defend and reset in a variety of situations. Learn how to put it in to play in live game situations.
  • 10:45am – 11:00am:
    • Live match play with coach observed feedback throughout points on topics covered in the camp session.
  • 11:00am – 12:00pm:
    • Adding in movement through the court, especially in the transition area (TA) with the right game strategy and with a focus on partner communication. Learn how to put it in to play in live game situations.
  • 12:00pm – 1:00pm: (LUNCH BREAK & Q&A)
    • Please bring snacks or light lunch to eat during break and re-fuel. Opportunity for Q&A with the instructors on real-game experience and all things pickleball.
  • 1:00pm – 1:30pm:
    • Live match play with coach observed feedback throughout points on topics covered in the camp session.
  • 1:30pm – 2:30pm:
    • Development of serve and return strategies including work on high efficiency shot selections including 3rd drops, drives & hybrids. Learn how to put it in to play in live game situations.
  • 2:30pm – 2:45pm:
    • Live match play with coach observed feedback throughout points on topics covered in the camp session.
  • 2:45pm – 3:00pm:
    • Q&A along with review session with coaches along with special game to wrap up the camp.

MEALS

  • Meals are not included in the camp tuition. Participants are encouraged to bring snacks or food along with hydration options.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Welcome Package: All campers receive a Pickleball Camps t-shirt
  • Instruction: 5 hours of court time including instruction, coach observed feedback and match play

EQUIPMENT, FACILITY & MORE

  • Equipment Needed: All campers must bring a pickleball paddle, athletic shoes, and a water bottle
  • Facility: Dill Dinkers Hatboro's indoor pickleball courts

CANCELLATION POLICIES *PLEASE READ CAREFULLY*

Cancellations, for any reason, received at least seven (7) days before camp start date, will result in a camp VOUCHER for all tuition fees paid, valid through the following calendar year. Your VOUCHER is transferable to any family member and may be used for any sport. Cash refunds will be given only with the purchase of Cancellation Protection (see terms below). Those who cancel their camp session within seven (7) days of the camp start date will receive a camp VOUCHER for 50% of the camp tuition. Individuals who DO NOT attend their registered session (no-shows) will forfeit their full tuition payment.

Please note: Any camper with an unpaid balance 10 days before camp will forfeit all camp fees paid to date and be removed from the camp.

Cancellation by US Sports Camps
  • In the unlikely event that US Sports Camps cancels your camp session, we will refund only your camp tuition and registration fee. Camper waives any and all damages that may otherwise arise out of any camp cancellation and agrees to accept as liquidated damages said registration fees.
Cancellation Protection
  • US Sports Camps offers our camp families Cancellation Protection for $100 per session, due at the time of registration. Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of your camp tuition fees paid to date (Please note: $100 Cancellation Protection and Registration fee are non-refundable.) if you cancel for any reason before your final payment date (the first day of the month prior to the month your camp begins, i.e. final pay date of May 1st for any camp in your sport beginning in the month of June). Cancellation Protection is not available for purchase when using a voucher credit towards camp tuition.
  • With Cancellation Protection, if you cancel after your final payment due date, we will issue you a camp voucher for your tuition payments made. Your camp voucher will be transferable to an immediate family member and can be used for any sport. For camps taking place in 2024, camp vouchers are valid through 2025.
Accommodations and Travel
  • These are Day Camps only; housing is not included in the camp tuition. Campers are responsible for arranging their own overnight accommodations.
  • US Sports Camps, the Camp Director, the staff, and the host facility are not liable for any travel arrangements, including but not limited to flights, hotels, Airbnb’s, or rental cars.
  • We recommend booking travel accommodations that are refundable or flexible, in case of any changes to the camp schedule.
