Get better this summer at the Nike Soccer Camp in Chatsworth at Sierra Canyon School! This camp is open to boys and girls, ages 6-14 of all abilities, and is an ideal camp for players looking to improve their game, learn, challenge themselves and have fun! This camp is run with a low coach to camper ratio, so each camper will enjoy an action-packed week where they'll develop new skills, refine their technique and will leave camp a better player.

Associate Head Coach of the Sierra Canyon Boys Soccer Team Will Beard
William Beard coaches at Real So Cal Soccer Club. He began his coaching career at the age of 21 working at Royal High School. Working at Royal opened up the door for him to start working in club soccer. He began his club coaching career at Valley United Soccer Club, coaching there for a year. From working at Valley soccer club it opened a coaching opportunity at Barcelona FC out of Pasadena, where he worked for 2 years. He has been on the Real Soc Cal coaching staff since 2008..

CAMP DETAILS:
This program is geared towards players of all abilities. Campers will work on mastering the proper fundamentals, techniques and advancing their overall skills and knowledge of the game. A great opportunity for players to learn through a mix of drills, games, and competitive play. With a number of different camp options for all to enjoy!

Ramirez
Khalil has played at powerhouse University of Kentucky scoring 20 goals, two seasons with MLS club FC Dallas, Reading FC, Loudoun United, and North Texas. He scored an impressive 8 goals this season and is excited to share some insight on shooting technique and creating the attack.
Juan Ramirez is a current Loudoun United professional who played for renowned Colombian club, Envigado FC for two years. He then had the opportunity to travel to Brazil where he spent time training with professional clubs such as Ponte Preta and AD Guarulhos. These experiences led him to play in Spain for AD Alcorcón and Fuenlabrada Reserves in 2020-2022 before making his way back to the DMV—

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
Instruction: Training from the Sierra Canyon coaching staff
Day campers: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
Supervision: Staff members are strategically placed throughout the camp to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities
Camp T-shirt & Prizes: All campers receive a Nike Soccer Camps t-shirt and prizes
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY
Ratio: Low camper-to-coach ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
Equipment Needed: All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes, and a water bottle.
Facility: Sierra Canyon Soccer Field
Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital
CAMP CHECK-IN & OUT DETAILS
- Half-Day Hours: 9:00am-12:00pm
- Day Camp Hours: 9:00am-3:00pm
- Check-In & Out Location: Sierra Canyon Soccer Field
- Check-in: Check-in starts 15 minutes before camp start time
- Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
- *Check-in starts 15 minutes before camp start time on the first day of camp
- A closing ceremony will take place approximately 30 minutes prior to camp check-out on the last day. Parents are invited to attend! Departure immediately follows the closing ceremony.
CHECKLIST OF THINGS TO BRING:
Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.
- Athletic clothing
- Soccer Cleats (no metal studs)
- Shin guards
- Water bottle
- Sunblock
- Packed lunch and snacks
- Small gym bag/backpack
SOCCER BALLS
Nike Soccer Camp Balls can be purchased during registration. Players can choose between a size 4 or size 5 ball, which will be passed out on the first day of camp. Please note that it is not required to bring a soccer ball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction.
TEAM DISCOUNT
If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $30 discount. please fill out the Team Discount - Soccer form with the name of your group and the names of each camper enrolling in the camp and we will create a unique discount code for your group.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

- 9:00 am Campers arrive, warm up
- 10:00-10:30am Introduction/ fun games
- 10:30-12:00pm Tech Training (Speed & Agility and Escape Dribbling)
- 12:00-1:00pm Lunch
- 1:30-2:45pm Offense and Defense training (1v1, 2v2, 3v1, 4v2)
- 2:45-3:00pm Cool down and clean up
