Nike Soccer Camps
Nike Soccer Camps is excited to return to Cal State San Marcos in 2026! Register today and enjoy elite-level training while making memories to last a lifetime. The camp offers a unique opportunity to train under the direction of dedicated coaches and current and former collegiate athletes who serve as counselors. The camp is open to athletes ages 8-17.
Day Camp (9:00am – 4:00pm)
This Day Camp program runs 9:00am-4:00pm each day and includes daytime training, fun activities, scrimmaging opportunities, and more. Campers can bring their own lunch or purchase on campus.
Athletic Facilities
Campers train at the Cal State San Marcos’ Mangrum Field for the duration of the camp. The facility offers a beautiful field in the middle of the school’s athletic complex and offers free parking.
The Nike Soccer Camp at Cal State San Marcos is open to any and all entrants and limited only by number, age and gender. Athletic facilities and coaches are subject to change. The camp is not owned, sponsored, controlled or endorsed by Cal State San Marcos.

Site Director Kayla Neff
Kayla Neff serves as site director for Next Athletes (operators of Nike Sports Camps) and is currently an assistant coach for Biola University Softball. Kayla is the main point of contact for parents across all sports at camp.

Assistant Site Director Payton Brown
Payton Brown serves as an assistant site director for Next Athletes and Nike Sports Camps. Payton is currently a Division II baseball coach at Adams State University and is currently pursuing his Masters of Business Administration. Payton supports all sports and serves as an additional contact for camp families.

Camp Administrator Westy McQueen
Westy McQueen is the owner and camp director for Next Athletes, operator of the Nike Sports Camps at Boise State University and Westminster University. Westy has over 10 years of experience operating youth programs and has designed the Next Athletes programs with the purpose of providing a truly memorable, sport development experience for each child. Westy is a Positive Coaching Alliance certified coach, Level II U.S. Kids Golf Certified Coach, and specializes in a variety of sports including tennis, volleyball, soccer, golf, and football.

Checklist of things to bring: We recommend Day Campers bring a daily pack with the following items. Please label all equipment with an easily identifiable tag with the camper's full name and contact info.

- extra athletic clothing
- 1-2 pairs of broken in soccer cleats
- running shoes
- shin guards
- water bottle
- sunblock
- small gym bag/backpack
- packed lunch
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Daytime training sessions
- Day campers: Instruction and daytime activities only. Lunch is not included
- Supervision: Staff members reside in adjacent rooms to the overnight campers and participate in all activities
- Camp T-shirt: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Soccer Camp t-shirt

Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

- Groups of 4 or more: Each camper gets a $30 discount.
- Groups of 8 or more: Each camper enjoys a $35 discount.

SOCCER BALLS
Nike Soccer Camp Balls can be purchased during registration. Players can choose between a size 3, 4 or 5 ball, which will be shipped out before camp. Shipping is included in the listed price. Please note that it is not required to bring a soccer ball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction. All sales are final.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided to/from camp. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time. If there is a need for additional facilities, we may conduct camp nearby at an off-campus location. In this case, overnight campers will be bussed to this location and day campers will be dropped off and picked up at the destination. Parents will be given notice if this is the case.
