The Importance of Proper Fitness

"Physical and mental fitness are keys to being successful on the gridiron. Players who stay in shape year rounds are better competitors during the football season. Regular exercise (like participating in sports other than football), rest, proper nutrition & hydration all contribute to physical fitness. Mental fitness is important. Players who achieve their best in school tend to make smart decisions on the football field."
