Running Tips From Two Time Olympian Andrew Wheating
Running is a sport that requires an intense training regime and frequent activity. With constant training it can be difficult for runners to stay focused on their goals. So what is the secret to improving times? Two time Olympic runner and five time NCAA champion Andrew Wheating says “the key to success is finding the perfect balance between training hard and having fun!”
Wheating is a co-director at Green Mountain Running Camp for this summer of 2018. Wheating recommends activities like tossing a football, or throwing a frisbee with friends. If you really want to take your running to the next level Wheating suggests doing a handstand with your pinky fingers! He challenges campers that they better start practicing now, Wheating has already successfully completed a two finger handstand!
