Brandy Maben
Camp Director
Brandy Maben, Captain of Arizona's 2008 National Championship team and former University of Arizona Coach and Recruiting Coordinator will be directing camp this summer. Brandy has served as the Arizona Nike Swim Camp Director and Lead Instructor for over 5 Years.
Maben, the captain of the University of Arizona's NCAA championship team in 2008, got her coaching career started by serving as a graduate assistant coach for her alma mater and for Ford Aquatics, where she was the head coach of the Silver Group in Tucson. She then continued on coaching at LSU and back at Arizona before moving on to the Finance world to pursue her entrepreneurship dream.
As a student-athlete, Maben was a member of three Pac-10 championship teams at Arizona in addition to its 2008 NCAA championship team as a sprint butterfly and freestyle performer. She was also an Olympic Trials and NCAA qualifier and was once ranked in the top 20 in the world in the 50-meter fly.
A Pac-10 Post-graduate scholarship recipient in 2008, Maben earned a Bachelor of Science degree from UArizona, a Master of Science at LSU and furthered her education at Pepperdine University studying Finance. Married to Tucson local Philip Maben, they set up residency back in their hometown where both families reside and now have a daughter, Collins, and son, Miles, and her dogs Mardi and Boomer. Philip works for the University of Arizona Athletic Department as a Director of Development.
