Daniel J Howard

Daniel J Howard comes from a sports background in which he grew up playing multiple sports. He was a scholarship athlete in both basketball and tennis in college, where he graduated with a degree in Exercise Science. Daniel had a career in tennis for many years prior to finding pickleball.

Daniel discovered pickleball 10 years ago and fell in love. He played his first tournament in 2015 winning a gold medal at the 5.0 level. He was hooked from that point on and immersed himself into learning all he could about teaching and playing the game better. Daniel has continued to play 5.0 and pro-level events and has won numerous medals, including five at the US Open.

Daniel has been a long-time student of exercise, sports, human movement, and sports psychology, and is a certified Mental Game Coach. He brings unique knowledge and experience you don’t find elsewhere. His expertise, playing ability, outstanding communication skills, and passion for helping people learn and grow are evident in all his camps and clinics. Daniel has taught pickleball to thousands of students ranging from beginner to pro level.

Daniel resides in mid-Michigan where he and his wife Christine have five beautiful children. He spends as much time with them as he can when not traveling to play or teach pickleball.
