Campers room with either one or two students with a maximum of six students per home. In addition, each home has a living room, dining room, fully-appointed kitchen and laundry room, and, in most cases, an enclosed patio for relaxation and games. All units have wireless Internet access and satellite television. The condos are convenient to all golf facilities, dining hall, and recreational activities that are just steps away from home.

Supervision, Safety and Security

Campers receive guidance and supervision on a 24/7 basis by resident house parents who take on the responsibility of overseeing our campers’ daily lives. BGGA is inside a private, gated community. Only residents, staff, and members of the club have access to the community.

Boarding students eat all their meals in Champions Hall, the Clubhouse at BGGA. Overlooking the lake, Champions Hall is the perfect setting for our students to relax, socialize, and play a few games. Bishops Gate Golf Academy utilizes an in-house catering service lead by Executive Chef Bill Redding. Chef Redding is an accomplished Executive Chef with over 20 years of experience in restaurants all over the country. Chef Redding is a Certified Food Safety Manager, and he also holds a certification in Sports Nutrition and Performance.

Non-boarding students

Non-boarding students have the ability to rent luxurious town-homes within or near the gated community of Bishops Gate Golf and Lakeside Community. Although living with a relative, non-boarding students will still be able to eat lunch with their friends at BGGA and train each day.

Bishops Gate Golf Facility

When you arrive at the campus at Bishops Gate Golf Academy, you know you are somewhere special. Located on beautiful Lake Harris in Florida’s Lake County, just 45 minutes from Orlando International Airport, the property boasts a first-class training facility with a 16-acre range and 11 golf holes. This unique training environment allows you to train in golf course conditions every day. There is over 50,000 square feet of training tee space, 30,000 square feet of putting and short game greens, and 15,000 square feet of bunkers.

There is no other training environment better equipped to prepare yourself and your game. The course has been carefully designed to challenge its players. It can be played from multiple tee locations to multiple greens, making it possible to train for almost every shot imaginable. There is a full-time crew working to keep the quality of the greens in pristine condition, and they run as fast and smooth as any you will find in any tournament.

There are two short game areas where you can work on unlimited situations ranging from green side bunkers to 180-yard approach shots. Each of these areas allows the athlete to master the art of scoring.

The facilities are amazing. I can’t believe it. I went to another golf camp before and it’s nothing compared to this one.

    Really Fun

This camp has been really fun. I learned a lot about my swing, how to manage myself on the course and various things about my game I needed to improve. That’s why I came to BGGA!

Goes Really Straight and Really Far!

My putting has improved as well as my long game. My backswing is shorter now and I can hit my balls longer than before, especially my driver. It goes really straight and really far!
