College Golf Experience Camps are a perfect place for young golfers to take their game to the next level. These single-day camps allow for the highest level of training and college coaching for your camper to experience.

SUMMER FULL DAY CAMPS

This program is designed to improve tournament performance, develop competitive skills, and boost your junior golf ranking. These camps allow parents and campers to interact directly with college coaches and gain firsthand insights into the college golf experience. CGX camps are recommended for boys and girls between the ages 11-18 who are ready to advance their skills and understanding of college golf. Full Day Camps run from 8:00am - 6:00pm and are open to players of all abilities. Please note: Lunch is provided.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

  • College Golf Recruiting Seminar: Hear directly from College Coaches about how the process works and what they look for in prospective players.
  • On-Course Experience: Play on the course with College Coaches, focusing on course management, decision-making, and tournament strategy.
  • College Golf Seminar: Learn what day-to-day college golf is really like - academics, athletics, travel, and team culture.
  • Lunch with Coaches: Players and coaches share a meal together - parents are welcome to join the conversation at tables during lunch.
  • Skill Development Practice Sessions: Dedicated stations for putting, short game, and full swing with personalized feedback from College Coaches.
  • One-on-One & Small Group Interaction: Ask your questions, get honest answers, and build relationships with College Coaches throughout the day.

    University of South Florida Men's Golf Head Coach

    Coach Bradley is the winningest coach in USF men's golf history, leading the Bulls to six American Athletic Conference Championships, seven straight NCAA Regional appearances, and three NCAA Championship appearances — including a program-best sixth-place finish.

    A six-time AAC Coach of the Year, his teams hold the top five season win totals in program history and he has developed nine All-Americans and 13 All-Region honorees. Before USF, he led Mercer to its first-ever NCAA postseason appearance.

    AJ Newell

    University of South Florida Women's Golf Head Coach

    Coach Newell is a Tampa native, former LPGA Tour player, and 2015 NCAA All-American who joined USF after three seasons as an assistant at Michigan — where she helped lead the Wolverines to the program's first Big Ten Championship, the 2022 NCAA Finals, and three straight NCAA Regional appearances.

    As a player, she competed at Tennessee, where she helped the Volunteers to four straight NCAA regional bids and two Finals appearances. She spent five years as a professional, including eight LPGA Tour starts in 2018.

    Florida International University Women's Golf Head Coach

    Coach Koskinen spent 12 years as associate head coach at the University of Miami, where he helped lead the Hurricanes to 12 consecutive NCAA Regional appearances, the 2015-16 NCAA National Championship, and six WGCA All-Americans.

    His recruiting produced some of the most decorated players in program history, including two who graduated with honors and went on to earn LPGA Tour cards. A Michigan State alum and two-time Academic All-American, he also made two U.S. Open appearances as a player.

    Florida Southern College

    Coach Richey led Florida Southern to the 2025 Sunshine State Conference title and the NCAA Quarterfinals in his first full season at the helm, earning SSC Coach of the Year honors.

    Florida Atlantic University Men's Golf Head Coach

    Coach Mork joined FAU after six seasons at TCU, where he helped the Horned Frogs reach an NCAA Regional every year the championship was held during his tenure and finish runner-up at the 2023 Big 12 Championship.

    Before TCU, he served at UCF where the Knights reached the NCAA Championship in 2017. As a professional, Mork became the first player to shoot 59 in a European Tour event and holds the record for lowest 36-hole score in European Tour history.

    Coach Garren has accumulated 23 team titles across four Division I programs, highlighted by the 2017 NCAA Men's National Championship at Oklahoma.

    Since joining Miami, the Hurricanes have claimed five team titles, reached the NCAA Regionals twice, and set multiple program scoring records. His career includes nine All-Americans, five PGA Tour players, and two Olympians — and he helped prepare Sara Byrne for both the 2024 Palmer Cup and Curtis Cup representing Europe.

    Coach Sease helped the Gators to five tournament victories, a runner-up finish at the SEC Championship, and the program's first NCAA National Championship appearance since 2019 in her first season at Florida.

    Before UF, she spent four seasons at Campbell — rising to associate head coach of the women's program — and prior stints at Furman, where she coached the No. 1 ranked player in the country, and Northwood University. Our camps are open to any and all entrants limited only by number of participants, gender, and age.

2026 OVERVIEW

  • Date: June 19

  • Camp Type: Full Day Camp Available
  • Schedule:
    • Summer Full Day: 8:00am-6:00pm
  • Check-In: 15 minutes prior to camp start time.
  • Lunch: Lunch is included.
  • Program: The All Abilities program is designed to improve the fundamental skills needed for golf including putting, chipping, bunker play, and full-swing. On the first day of camp, all participants will be evaluated by the instructors and placed into groups based on age and ability level in various individual, small group and full group settings.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio.
  • Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own golf clubs, glove, golf balls, and tees.
  • Facility: Stonebridge Country Club
  • Medical Protocol: Camp will have on-site staff to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own.

  • CGX camps welcome players across a range of skill levels. There is no minimum handicap requirement for most camp types, though some specialized camps may be better suited for more competitive players. Check the specific camp listing for details, or contact us with questions.

  • Yes — parents are encouraged to attend. There will be plenty of opportunities throughout the day to ask questions directly to coaches. We ask that parents step to the side only during skill instruction sessions and on-course competition.

  • NCAA rules restrict direct communication between college coaches and recruits until June 15th of a recruit's junior year of high school. Attending a CGX camp before that date is one of the few opportunities younger players have to learn directly from and interact with College Coaches.

  • Campers should bring their clubs, golf shoes, appropriate attire for the weather, snacks and any personal items they need for the day.

  • Host hotel information near camp venues are listed on the individual camp pages at collegegolfx.com. CGX does not manage lodging.

  • This varies by venue. Details will be communicated in pre-camp materials.
