College Golf Experience Camps are a perfect place for young golfers to take their game to the next level. These single-day camps allow for the highest level of training and college coaching for your camper to experience.

SUMMER FULL DAY CAMPS

This program is designed to improve tournament performance, develop competitive skills, and boost your junior golf ranking. These camps allow parents and campers to interact directly with college coaches and gain firsthand insights into the college golf experience. CGX camps are recommended for boys and girls between the ages 11-18 who are ready to advance their skills and understanding of college golf. Full Day Camps run from 8:00am - 5:00pm and are open to players of all abilities, ages 11-18. Please note: Lunch is provided.

    Arizona State University Women's Associate Golf Head Coach

    Ryan joined Arizona State in July 2025 after three seasons at Florida State, where he coached Luke Clanton (Ben Hogan Award), Mirabel Ting (ANNIKA Award), and Lottie Woad — all former No. 1 ranked amateurs who turned pro.

    He has worked with 10 All-Americans across his career and helped FSU's women win their first ACC Championship in 2024-25. ASU's women's program has won eight NCAA Division I National Championships — more than any other school.

    University of Arizona Men's Assistant Golf Coach

    Matt joined Arizona in June 2023 after three seasons at USC, where he helped the Trojans qualify for NCAA Regionals each year.

    In his first season with the Wildcats, he helped guide the program to the NCAA Championships, three team tournament titles, and three individual wins. He previously coached at Wichita State and spent four years as a golf instructor, including as Lead Coach at the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy. A decorated college player himself, Matt earned All-American honors at the NJCAA level and won back-to-back conference titles at the NAIA level.

    Marcus has coached both the men's and women's programs at South Mountain CC since 2023-24.

    In 2025, he guided the Cougars to third place at the NJCAA National Championships, earned ACCAC Coach of the Year, and was a finalist for the Dave Williams NJCAA Division II National Coach of the Year — for the second straight year. His players Jorge Parada and Dillon Dean won back-to-back Phil Mickelson NJCAA Freshman of the Year awards and transferred to DI programs. Before SMCC, he led Pima CC to the NJCAA Division I National Championships three consecutive seasons.

College Golf Experience is dedicated to providing junior golfers with meaningful, one‑of‑a‑kind opportunities to connect with college coaches and gain a deeper understanding of the college golf recruiting process. Our camps are open to any and all entrants limited only by number of participants, gender, and age.

2026 OVERVIEW

  • Schedule:
    • Summer Full Day: 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Check-In: 15 minutes prior to camp start time.
  • Lunch: Lunch is included.
  • Program: The All Abilities program is designed to improve the fundamental skills needed for golf including putting, chipping, bunker play, and full-swing. On the first day of camp, all participants will be evaluated by the instructors and placed into groups based on age and ability level in various individual, small group and full group settings.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio.
  • Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own golf clubs, glove, golf balls, and tees.
  • Facility: Talking Stick Golf Club
  • Medical Protocol: Camp will have on-site staff to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own.

    CGX camps are designed for boys and girls ages 12–18 who are interested in improving their game and learning more about the college golf landscape.

  • Campers receive hands-on instruction from College Coaches, learn about the college golf landscape, and have the opportunity to build relationships with coaches from programs across all divisions. Each camp is structured around skill development and educational sessions.

  • CGX camps welcome players across a range of skill levels. There is no minimum handicap requirement for most camp types, though some specialized camps may be better suited for more competitive players. Check the specific camp listing for details, or contact us with questions.

  • Yes — parents are encouraged to attend. There will be plenty of opportunities throughout the day to ask questions directly to coaches. We ask that parents step to the side only during skill instruction sessions and on-course competition.

  • NCAA rules restrict direct communication between college coaches and recruits until June 15th of a recruit's junior year of high school. Attending a CGX camp before that date is one of the few opportunities younger players have to learn directly from and interact with College Coaches.

  • Campers should bring their clubs, golf shoes, appropriate attire for the weather, snacks and any personal items they need for the day.

  • Host hotel information near camp venues are listed on the individual camp pages at collegegolfx.com. CGX does not manage lodging.

  • This varies by venue. Details will be communicated in pre-camp materials.
