College Golf Experience Camps are a perfect place for young golfers to take their game to the next level. These single-day camps allow for the highest level of training and college coaching for your camper to experience.

SUMMER FULL DAY CAMPS

This program is designed to improve tournament performance, develop competitive skills, and boost your junior golf ranking. These camps allow parents and campers to interact directly with college coaches and gain firsthand insights into the college golf experience. CGX camps are recommended for boys and girls between the ages 11-18 who are ready to advance their skills and understanding of college golf. Full Day Camps run from 8:00am - 4:00pm and are open to players of all abilities.

Please note: Lunch is provided.

  • College Coach Recruiting Seminar: Hear directly from College Coaches about how the process works and what they look for in prospective players.
  • College Golf Seminar: Learn what day-to-day college golf is really like - academics, athletics, travel, and team culture.
  • Skill Development Practice Sessions: Dedicated stations for putting, short game, and full swing with personalized feedback from College Coaches.
  • On-Course Experience: Play on the course with College Coaches, focusing on course management, decision-making, and tournament strategy.
  • One-on-One & Small-Group Interactions: Ask your questions, get honest answers, and build relationships with College Coaches throughout the day.
  • Lunch with Coaches: Players and coaches share a meal together - parents are welcome to join the conversation at tables during lunch.

    Lance Watson

    Oral Roberts University Men's and Women's Golf Head Coach

    Coach Watson is a 16-time Summit League Coach of the Year who has led the ORU women's program to 12 consecutive NCAA tournament appearances and helped the men's team earn NCAA berths in 2009, 2010, and 2025 — the latter including the program's first Summit League Championship in 15 years.

    Oral Roberts University Men's and Women's Golf Head Coach

    Across both programs, he has produced 12 Summit League Players of the Year, 16 Newcomers of the Year, three NCAA individual qualifiers, and 17 NCAA Tournament appearances. A former ORU golfer and two-time team captain, Watson is a Class A PGA Professional who earned both his undergraduate and master's degrees from Oral Roberts University.

    University of Tulsa Men's Golf Head Coach

    Coach Wilkins was appointed men's golf head coach at the University of Tulsa in June 2025, taking the helm of a program restarting competitive play in fall 2026.

    University of Tulsa Men's Golf Head Coach

    He arrives from SMU, where he spent five seasons as associate head coach and director of recruiting, helping guide the Mustangs to three NCAA Championship appearances — including back-to-back appearances in his final two seasons. He has contributed to 16 all-conference selections, six tournament-winning teams, two All-Americans, and two conference golfers of the year, and mentored Mac Meissner to the 2021 Byron Nelson Award — the first SMU golfer to receive that honor.

    NW Oklahoma State University Men's and Women's Golf Head Coach

    Coach Campbell leads both the men's and women's golf programs at Northwestern Oklahoma State, bringing a diverse coaching and instruction background to the Ranger Family.

    NW Oklahoma State University Men's and Women's Golf Head Coach

    Before NWOSU, he served as an assistant coach at McDaniel College, where he helped the program to three tournament victories, and as a full-time instructor at Five Iron Golf in Washington D.C., where he earned Trackman's highest level of certification. Growing up in a family of PGA professionals, he gained extensive experience caddying at prestigious venues including Congressional Country Club. A First Tee instructor and Elon University graduate, Campbell is committed to developing players both on the course and in the classroom.

    Tyler Kaman

    Cameron University Men's and Women's Golf Head Coach

    Coach Kaman leads the Cameron University men's and women's golf programs, returning to the school where he earned All-Lone Star Conference First Team honors, three consecutive Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar selections, and capped his playing career with a tournament win and NCAA Regional appearance in his senior season.

    Cameron University Men's and Women's Golf Head Coach

    A First Team NJCAA All-American at Tyler Junior College, he was ranked No. 21 in the region at the end of his college career. He transitioned directly from player to volunteer assistant — helping the program win three tournaments — before being named head coach, bringing an intimate knowledge of the program and a strong commitment to player development on and off the course.

    Oral Roberts University Men's and Women's Golf Associate Head Coach

    Coach Braaten was recently promoted to Associate Head Coach after playing a pivotal role in the men's team securing the program's first Summit League Championship in 15 years and earning an NCAA Regional berth — where the Golden Eagles shot the low round of the tournament in the final round.

    Oral Roberts University Men's and Women's Golf Associate Head Coach

    He developed Kevin An into the 2025 Summit League Individual Champion and Golfer of the Year, and has recruited four consecutive Summit League award winners. Before ORU, he built Southwestern Christian golf from 128th to 9th nationally, earning the 2021 Sooner Athletic Conference Coach of the Year award and leading the program to its first-ever NAIA National Championship.

Our camps are open to any and all entrants limited only by number of participants, gender, and age.

2026 OVERVIEW

  • Date: June 21

  • Schedule:
    • Summer Full Day: 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Check-In: 15 minutes prior to camp start time.
  • Lunch: Lunch is included.
  • Program: The All Abilities program is designed to improve the fundamental skills needed for golf including putting, chipping, bunker play, and full-swing. On the first day of camp, all participants will be evaluated by the instructors and placed into groups based on age and ability level in various individual, small group and full group settings.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio.
  • Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own golf clubs, glove, golf balls, and tees.
  • Facility: Page Belcher Golf Course
  • Medical Protocol: Camp will have on-site staff to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own.

  • CGX camps welcome players across a range of skill levels. There is no minimum handicap requirement for most camp types, though some specialized camps may be better suited for more competitive players. Check the specific camp listing for details, or contact us with questions.

  • Yes — parents are encouraged to attend. There will be plenty of opportunities throughout the day to ask questions directly to coaches. We ask that parents step to the side only during skill instruction sessions and on-course competition.

  • NCAA rules restrict direct communication between college coaches and recruits until June 15th of a recruit's junior year of high school. Attending a CGX camp before that date is one of the few opportunities younger players have to learn directly from and interact with College Coaches.

  • Campers should bring their clubs, golf shoes, appropriate attire for the weather, snacks and any personal items they need for the day.

  • Host hotel information near camp venues are listed on the individual camp pages at collegegolfx.com. CGX does not manage lodging.

  • This varies by venue. Details will be communicated in pre-camp materials.
