College Golf Experience Camps are a perfect place for young golfers to take their game to the next level. These single-day camps allow for the highest level of training and college coaching for your camper to experience.

SUMMER FULL DAY CAMPS

This program is designed to improve tournament performance, develop competitive skills, and boost your junior golf ranking. These camps allow parents and campers to interact directly with college coaches and gain firsthand insights into the college golf experience. CGX camps are recommended for boys and girls between the ages 11-18 who are ready to advance their skills and understanding of college golf. Full Day Camps run from 8:00am - 6:00pm and are open to players of all abilities.

  • College Coach Recruiting Seminar: Hear directly from College Coaches about how the process works and what they look for in prospective players.
  • College Golf Seminar: Learn what day-to-day college golf is really like - academics, athletics, travel, and team culture.
  • Skill Development Practice Sessions: Dedicated stations for putting, short game, and full swing with personalized feedback from College Coaches.
  • On-Course Experience: Play on the course with College Coaches, focusing on course management, decision-making, and tournament strategy.
  • One-on-One & Small-Group Interactions: Ask your questions, get honest answers, and build relationships with College Coaches throughout the day.
  • Lunch with Coaches: Players and coaches share a meal together - parents are welcome to join the conversation at tables during lunch.

    Coach Runion has led LSU women's golf to five consecutive NCAA Championship appearances — a program record — including the program's first-ever NCAA match play appearance in 2024 and a No. 3 national ranking.

    A two-time SEC Coach of the Year and three-time finalist for the WGCA National Coach of the Year, he guided the Tigers to the first SEC Championship for LSU in 30 years and has coached nine All-Americans during his tenure. Before LSU women's golf, he served six seasons as an LSU men's assistant, helping the Tigers win the 2015 NCAA National Championship and finish in the national top 10 for four consecutive seasons.

    Coach Long is a former All-American at Missouri who helped LSU produce one of the finest fall seasons in program history, claiming three team titles in four tournaments and reaching a No. 2 national ranking.

    Before LSU, he spent three seasons at Marquette — earning Big East Coaching Staff of the Year honors alongside a conference championship and NCAA Regional appearance — and mentored 12 All-Big East honorees including the 2023-24 Big East Golfer of the Year. As a player, he was ranked No. 1 in college golf during his senior year at Mizzou, won the 2011 NCAA Southeast Regional individual title, set a school record with 11 individual titles, and represented the United States at the 2011 World University Games.

    Coach Kaelin joined Tulane after six seasons with TCU women's golf — the final four as associate head coach — where she helped the Horned Frogs set the top-five team stroke averages in program history, including a then-record 290.3, and make back-to-back NCAA Championship appearances for the first time since 2007-08.

    Before TCU, she led Redlands Community College to three NJCAA National Championship appearances and four consecutive regional titles. A Florida State graduate and former Seminole golfer, she earned first-team All-American honors at the 2009 NJCAA Championship and was a 2008 USGA Amateur Championship qualifier.

    Coach Pollock led ULM to the program's first-ever Sun Belt Conference Women's Golf Championship and first-ever NCAA Regional appearance in just her second season as head coach.

    That 2022-23 team broke more than 20 individual and team records, won a program-record five tournaments, and vaulted to a program-best No. 72 national ranking. A magna cum laude graduate of East Tennessee State in exercise science, she previously spent four seasons on the Arkansas State staff — helping the Red Wolves set program records in stroke average in each of her first three seasons there.

    Coach Schilling has led the Nicholls State men's golf program for more than two decades, coaching one NCAA All-American and 14 All-Southland Conference players during his tenure.

    His program's best finish in conference history came at the 2017 Southland Championship, where Albert Badosa-Soler became the first Colonel ever to win the individual Southland title and earned a bid to the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional. A Lafayette, Louisiana native and former Nicholls player himself, Schilling is credited with founding both the Gulf Coast Collegiate and the Nicholls Golf Classic, establishing his program as a host presence in Louisiana collegiate golf.

    Coach Croshaw joined Louisiana Lafayette after serving as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Harding University, where he played five seasons and earned two Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar honors and three Academic All-Great American Conference selections.

    A native of Loughborough, England, he ranks among Harding's career leaders in scoring average, rounds played, and birdies, and holds degrees in both accounting and business administration from the university. 2026 OVERVIEW

    • Summer Full Day: 8:00am-6:00pm
  • Check-In: 15 minutes prior to camp start time.
  • Lunch: Lunch is included.
  • Program: The All Abilities program is designed to improve the fundamental skills needed for golf including putting, chipping, bunker play, and full-swing. On the first day of camp, all participants will be evaluated by the instructors and placed into groups based on age and ability level in various individual, small group and full group settings.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio.
  • Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own golf clubs, glove, golf balls, and tees.
  • Facility: TPC Louisiana
  • Medical Protocol: Camp will have on-site staff to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own.

Facility

TPC Louisiana

The breathtaking scenery at TPC Louisiana’s golf course stretches over 250 acres of wetlands along the Mississippi River Delta. This championship golf course meets the highest course conditions, and is a grand representation of the natural local habitat. The golf course is part of the Audubon Golf Trail and a proud member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary program – providing a landscape that many have compared to a private nature reserve.

  • Yes — parents are encouraged to attend. There will be plenty of opportunities throughout the day to ask questions directly to coaches. We ask that parents step to the side only during skill instruction sessions and on-course competition.

  • NCAA rules restrict direct communication between college coaches and recruits until June 15th of a recruit's junior year of high school. Attending a CGX camp before that date is one of the few opportunities younger players have to learn directly from and interact with College Coaches.

  • Campers should bring their clubs, golf shoes, appropriate attire for the weather, snacks and any personal items they need for the day.

  • Host hotel information near camp venues are listed on the individual camp pages at collegegolfx.com. CGX does not manage lodging.

  • This varies by venue. Details will be communicated in pre-camp materials.
