Nike Field Hockey Camp at Pace University Adds a Second Summer Session
After a very popular session last summer, Nike Field Hockey Camps has decided to add a second summer field hockey camp at Pace University for this upcoming 2019 summer. Directed by Kayte Kinsley, Head Field Hockey Coach at Pace University, this popular New York field hockey camp attracted many players wanting to learn under her instruction.
Kinsley enters her fourth season as Head Field Hockey Coach for Pace University, and recently led her team to their most accomplished season yet. At the beginning of their 2018 season, Pace was unranked, and by the end of their season they found themselves at 13-0 in their conference, Northeast-10 Conference Champions, and NCAA Division II semifinalists. Kinsley was then named NE10’s Coach of the Year, and the staff was named NFHCA East Region Coaching Staff of the Year.
Last summer, under Kinsley’s instruction, campers from across Westchester County we able to compete and improve their field hockey skills in a fun and competitive environment.
“My child made many new friends with girls her age that share the same passion for field hockey,” stated Salvatore A., parent of a 2018 camper. “She had fun engaging in competitive sports with and against teammates throughout the camp, and now keeps talking about how she wants to do it again.”
This upcoming summer Kinsley and her staff decided to add a second field hockey session to the camp, allowing more girls and boys to develop better technique through collegiate level coaching. Players will have the option to attend a July and August field hockey camp and are encouraged to attend both sessions to maximize their field hockey training this summer.
This camp is a partner camp of USA Field Hockey and is sanctioned to make referrals to USAFH Futures program.
