Nike Field Hockey Camps Sending 2 Teams to Compete in European Field Hockey Tour
Nike Field Hockey Camps, a division of US Sports Camps, the largest sports camps provider in the world, has team up with Legacy Sports Group to create a new European field hockey tour this upcoming summer. This tour will go to Amsterdam in the Netherlands, home of the most successful national field hockey team in the world.
This field hockey tour in Amsterdam is open to two teams of girls ages 14-18. Both teams will play under the instruction of Megan Hildebrand and Andrea Slaven, former Merrimack College field hockey coaches, and current Nike Field Hockey Camp at Endicott College coaches. Both teams are limited to 12 players and spots are filled by position. Over the course of eight days, the two teams will participate in training sessions with college level coaches and compete in games against local European youth field hockey teams.
“We are excited to be hosting our first ever Nike Field Hockey Camp Tour in the Netherlands this summer,” says Siera Love, VP of Nike Field Hockey Camps. “Players from across the country and their families can compete against European field hockey teams, while also experiencing beautiful sites of Amsterdam.”
This trip combines field hockey and culture to create a unique and unforgettable experience for the whole family to enjoy. While refining their field hockey skills, players will also gain new perspective of another country through meeting Dutch players.
All accommodations will be 4-star hotels and all transportation for scheduled events will be included. There will be special guided tours through the city of Amsterdam & Dutch Windmills and a boat tour through the canals in Amsterdam.
