Coach Meagan Hildebrand
Meagan Hildebrand is a former All-American player and college coach. She is currently the varsity field hockey coach at Georgetown High School and was named Cape Anne League Coach of the Year in 2017.View Meagan 's Bio ⟩
Prior to this she was at Merrimack College as their Defensive Coach (2011-2015). While at Merrimack, the team boasted a 73-27 record, two NE-10 conferences titles, and four NCAA appearances, this past season being the program's first trip to the NCAA Championship game in program history. Hildebrand coached 11 players to NCAA All American status during her time with Merrimack.
Hildebrand was part of the Masconomet Regional High School field hockey team’s coaching staff from 2006-2010, serving as head coach for one season before making the move to the collegiate level. Hildebrand coached in the Bay State games in 2007 & 2008, and in the USA Field Hockey Futures program in 2009 & 2010. She also continues to work at various field hockey summer camps, including the Nike Blue Dog Camp at Endicott College. Hildebrand graduated from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vt., in 2006 with a degree in Secondary Education and English. She also obtained her Master of Arts degree in English from Salem State University in 2015.
As an undergraduate at Saint Michael’s, Hildebrand (then McCarthy) was a four-year member of the Purple Knights’ field hockey team while serving as a captain in her senior season. She earned all-conference honors as a junior and senior. Hildebrand was selected to the NCAA Division II All-American second team as a senior.
Coach Andrea Slaven
Andrea Slaven is former 3-time All-American player and college coach. She is currently the field hockey coach at North Reading High School.View Andrea's Bio ⟩
Slaven also recently built the DIS Field Hockey Club and acted as Club Director for two seasons.
From 2013-2105 Slaven was a member of the Merrimack Field Hockey coaching staff where she helped lead the Warriors to an overall record of 39-20 with two Division II Final Four appearances, including the championship game in 2015. Upon graduation from Saint Michael's College in 2009, she worked towards her Master’s in Education at Salem State University while pursuing a coaching career. After one season at Assumption College, Slaven was named the Varsity Field Hockey Coach at Manchester-Essex where she accumulated over 60 wins, three tournament appearances, two-Division II North Finals and was named the 2012 Cape Ann League Coach of the Year.
While at Saint Mikes, Slaven was a four-year starter for the Purple Knights field hockey team, setting many school records that still stand, including career points (117), games played (75), career goals (51) and goals in a single season (21). She also tops in Purple Knights’ record book in game-winning goals in a season (6) and a career (21). By Slaven’s senior season, she collected a variety of accolades in addition to being named her team’s tri-captain. The recognitions included three-time All-American (Second Team 2006; First Team 2007, 2008), ECAC Division II Player of the Year (2007), Northeast-10 Player of the Year (2007), Northeast-10 First Team All Conference (2007, 2008) and the Saint Michael’s College Woman of the Year (2009). Slaven was most recently inducted into the Saint Michael's College Hall of Fame in 2015, and the Bishop Fenwick High School Hall of Fame in 2017.
This amazing field hockey tour of the Netherlands is designed to take your skills to the next level, while you experience new cultures and beautiful sites. Each participant must be accompanied by an adult and we encourage you to bring the whole family!

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR TOURS
Please note all cancellations must be received in writing to the Event Manager listed on the webpage. Cancellations made later than 180 days prior to departure are subject to the following scale of charges payable by the customer:
- Cancellation 120 to 91 days of event departure: $500 USD non-refundable (per person).
- Cancellation at/inside of 90 to 61 days of event departure: $1,000 USD non-refundable (per person).
- Cancellation at/inside of 60 to 41 days of event departure: 100% of payment scheduled amount non-refundable per person.
