Nike Junior Golf Camps Offers New Summer Camps in San Bernardino
Yucaipa Valley Golf Club and Camp Director, Ruben Ruiz, set to host Nike Junior Golf Camps in 2018.
February 20, 2018 – US Sports Camps, operators of the Nike Junior Golf Camps, recently announced a new camp location just outside of San Bernardino, California. Nike Junior Golf Camps, Yucaipa Valley Golf Club offers three weeks of half and full day camps in the early weeks of summer. Directed by Lead Instructor at Yucaipa Valley GC, Ruben Ruiz, these camps help young players work through all facets of the game and improve their results on the golf course.
“Yucaipa Valley has expansive practice facilities and a junior-friendly golf course which makes it a perfect match for our programs,” says Westy McQueen of US Sports Camps. “Coach Ruben is a great ambassador of the sport and his passion for instruction and junior development will make this one of the top summer camps in the region.”
Ruben Ruiz is certified through the United States Golf Teachers Federation and The First Tee of Inland Empire and is heavily involved with local junior programming. For the Nike Camps, Coach Ruben is joined by his support team of assistant professionals.
“We are very excited to host the Nike Junior Golf Camps here at Yucaipa Valley,” says Ruben Ruiz. “By bringing a comprehensive, week-long experience to the facility, we can help our young players immerse themselves in the game of golf while receiving top-notch instruction.”
Nike Junior Golf Camps at Yucaipa Valley GC offers three week-long sessions in June and each are offered Monday – Friday. Full day camps run 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily and include morning instruction, lunch, and supervised afternoon course play with the camp staff. Half day camps run from 9:00 a.m. – Noon daily and include morning instruction only. The camps are co-ed and available for junior players of all abilities, ages 7-16 (varies by program).
