Nike Junior Golf Camps Opens First Summer Camp Location in Sioux Falls, SD
Prairie Green Golf Course set to host Nike Junior Golf Camps in South Dakota for three weeks in 2019.
February 5, 2019 - Nike Junior Golf Camps teams up with Prairie Green Golf Course to host their first summer junior golf camp in Sioux Falls. The facility, part of the Sioux Falls Golf municipal courses, is set offer half day and full day camps for three weeks this summer. Campers of all ability levels, ages 7-16 (varies by program), receive instruction on all facets of the game from the teaching professionals and participate in competitions and activities to practice their skills.
"We are excited to be hosting our first Nike Camp in Sioux Falls, SD. As an individual who participated in several Nike Camps myself, I couldn't be prouder to host,” says Danny Sinksen. “Our staff is anxious to educate and have fun with all the incoming students.”
Danny Sinksen is the Director of Player Development for Sioux Falls Golf and oversees all instructional programs for the three Sioux Falls Golf facilities. He recently served as PGA Head Golf Professional at Elmwood Golf Course for the past nine years and has been an employee of Sioux Falls Golf since 1999.
“Prairie Green is a fantastic public facility and the perfect place to be providing our youth camps to the Sioux Falls community,” says Westy McQueen of Nike Junior Golf Camps. “Danny Sinksen has many years of experience operating youth programs and we are so excited to be working with him and his staff.”
The Nike Junior Golf Camp in Sioux Falls offers three weeks of camps starting in late May. Half Day Camps run from 9:00am – Noon, and include morning instruction followed by fun, engaging games and competitions. Full Day Camps run from 9:00am-4:00pm and include three hours of instruction, lunch (included in cost of the camp), and afternoon course play with the staff. This camp is coed and open to players of all ability levels.
