Nike Junior Golf Camps to Host Camps at Whitter Narrows Golf Course
US Kids Golf Master Coach, Jeff Hirose, to direct two weeks of camp in greater Los Angeles in 2019.
May 13, 2019 – US Sports Camps has announced the addition of full day junior golf camps in Rosemead, CA at Whittier Narrows Golf Course. Nike Junior Golf Camps offer a curriculum covering all aspects of the game with daily range instruction and course play in the afternoon. Directing the camps is experienced junior instructor, Jeff Hirose, who also runs Nike Camps at Diamond Bar Golf Course.
“Jeff has been running Nike Camps for many years and we have full confidence in his ability to improve a child’s game, regardless of starting point. His junior golf coaching resume speaks for itself and we know he’ll deliver a fun learning experience,” states VP of Nike Junior Golf Camps, Nicholas Brunner.
Jeff Hirose is a U.S. Kids Golf Master Kids Coach (the highest honor an instructor can receive from U.S. Kids Golf) and Certified Titleist Performance Institute Instructor who brings a life-long enthusiasm to teaching the game of golf. A native of Hawaii, his background includes a decade of professional golf instruction and teaching Nike Junior Golf Camps at several Southern California Courses. He currently offers lessons and clinics at Scholl Canyon Golf Course in Glendale and Diamond Bar Golf Course in Diamond Bar.
“My goal is to help teach, inspire and develop the junior golfer to learn the proper etiquette, rules, strategies and principles of golf in order to become better people,” says Camp Director, Jeff Hirose. “The Nike Junior Golf Camps platform enables me to develop these kids both on and off the golf course.”
Nike Junior Golf Camps at Whittier Narrows offers two camp sessions in 2019. Session I dates are June 24 – 28 and Session II is set for July 8 – 12. These Full Day Camps run from 9:00am – 3:00pm and include morning instruction on putting, short game and full swing followed by lunch and afternoon course play each day. This program is geared towards low-intermediate to advanced-level players, ages 7-16. All participants receive a camp amenity package (Nike Golf hat, SRIXON golf balls, drawstring bag, camp workbook and more). The camp fee is $495 per player.
