Sterling Hills Golf Club in Camarillo, CA to Offer NIKE Junior Golf Camps
PGA Professional, Dan Marvosh, set to direct NIKE Junior Golf Day Camps at Sterling Hills.
January 28, 2020 – Sterling Hills Golf Club, a public golf course located in Camarillo, CA, introduces NIKE Junior Golf Camps to its summer junior golf schedule. Led by Camp Director and PGA Professional, Dan Marvosh, these junior camps are designed for players of all ability and interest levels.
In addition to becoming a member of the PGA in 2014, Dan Marvosh received his certification in golf fitness from the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). Dan utilizes several high-tech devices as needed to improve the learning process including Flightscope, Hackmotion, Boditrack, V-1 Sports and video analysis. His qualifications and passion for growing the game made him a prime candidate for directing NIKE Junior Golf Camps.
“Dan has shown an eagerness to host these camps from the first day we connected,” states Nicholas Brunner, vice president of US Sports Camps. “He attended several overnight NIKE Golf Camps as a kid which had a profound impact on his love for the game and he now has the opportunity to offer such experiences to the next generation. We have a lot to look forward to with Dan and Sterling Hills this summer and beyond.”
Sterling Hills Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Robert Muir Graves and Damian Pascuzzo, tucked in between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles in Ventura County. Facilities include a full driving range, short game practice area and putting greens. Dan and his staff of teaching professionals will cover all aspects of the game including putting, short game, full swing, rules and etiquette.

Sterling Hills has high quality practice areas and an award-winning, championship caliber golf course as well as state-of-the-art equipment. We will strive to create a long-term plan for improvement for players of all ages and skill levels.”
NIKE Junior Golf Camps, Sterling Hills Golf Club are set to run four (4) sessions of camp during the 2020 summer season. Parents can choose between a Half Day and Full Day camp program. The Full Day Camps including range instruction, lunch and afternoon course play each day and are geared for players of all skills, ages 9-16. The Full Day Camps run 9:00am-4:00pm. Half Day Camps include range instruction only and are designed for beginner to intermediate players, ages 7-13. These camps are 9:00am-12:00pm daily.
