The Bowerman Track Club Announces Dates for its 2019 Nike Running Camp
Runners receive hands on coaching from the worlds best
The Bowerman Track Club and the Nike Running Camps come together for an inaugural XC camp that combines altitude training with elite level coaching.
The 2019 Nike Bowerman Track Club Running Camp takes place on the beautiful campus of OSU-Cascades in Bend, Oregon, from July 8-13. Athletes train alongside BTC professionals and elite athletes and top collegiate runners. The Bowerman Track Club is one of the premier cross country and track & field clubs in the world, and the BTC Summer Running Camp offers a rare opportunity to learn from and run with some of the best in the sport. The camp is designed to take a holistic approach to middle distance and distance running by not only providing challenging workouts, but also teaching each camper about general training philosophy, teamwork, nutrition, strength, injury prevention and recovery.

Directing the BTC Running Camp are Elliott Heath, BTC club director; Emily Pritt, head coach of the BTC youth program; and Jerry Schumacher, one of the most distinguished running coaches in the world.
The Nike BTC Running Camp is a coed camp, for athletes ages 14-18, offering six training days. While runners are expected to work hard, there will also be plenty fun with games, team activities and time to build lasting friendships with campers coming from all over the world.
