Ben Maxwell to lead Player One Nike Soccer Camp at San Diego State
January 16, 2019- Fresh off completing his 6th season as the Head Director of Nike Player One Soccer, Ben Maxwell is set to lead the Nike Player One Soccer Camp at San Diego State University this summer. A Scotland native, Maxwell has spent time coaching professional players overseas across Europe and the United States. Campers can expect to learn new skills and strategy when they attend this Southern California soccer camp.
“Coach Maxwell takes every detail into account when leading soccer camps. He leads Nike Camps across the U.S. and campers get to learn from a soccer enthusiast who takes pride in providing a quality soccer experience,” says Renee Chapman VP of Nike Soccer Camps. Maxwell makes the shift this year to lead the three weeks of camp at SDSU. With two weeks of day camp and one week of overnight. “We are excited that Ben will lead both sessions. We are confident that campers will have a quality experience under the direction of Ben and his staff.”
Campers can expect to receive position specific instruction, as well as a variety of offensive and defensive schemes. Warm up activities, drills, game play, and spirited competition fill out this action-packed camp.
The Nike Player One Soccer Camp at San Diego State- Youth Day will run July 15th-19th and July 22nd-26th, 2019. While the Residential Camp will run August 4th-7th, 2019.
