Sell out volleyball camp in Gettysburg to offer an elite session this summer
It was recently announced by Nike Volleyball Camps that their popular volleyball camp in Pennsylvania will be adding an elite session to their summer line up. This announcement comes after a sell-out first camp season at the Nike Volleyball Camp at Gettysburg College where over 100 girls and boys received collegiate level training by the Gettysburg coaching staff.
When asked about her daughter’s experience at the camp last summer, parent Kristin stated “We thought the camp was well organized and the facilities were great. The program and structure itself were very good and the coaches were friendly and supportive.”
Another parent claimed her “daughter had nothing but great things to say about the head coach, assistants, the quality of training, how much she learned, and great one-on-one time with the staff.”
This new elite volleyball camp will be designed for the experienced athlete who is looking to play at the collegiate level. Under Leah Bernier, Gettysburg College Head Volleyball Coach, players undergo an intensive and challenging program that will stress advanced techniques at a more competitive level. A unique aspect to the new camp is that campers will participate in a Q&A session with the coaches and current players to talk about their experience in the recruiting process as well as the daily life as a collegiate athlete.
The Nike Volleyball Camp at Gettysburg College will still continue to host its All Skills program, however, campers wanting to maximize their experience will now be able to link the all skills and elite camp together. This means more training and more time to work with the college-level coaching staff.
