Peak Performance Swim Camp Tip: Freestyle Kick
KEEP THE PRESSURE ON! To get the most out of your freestyle kick, you must maintain constant pressure on your feet. That means keeping your feet in the water at all times. Swimmers are notorious for allowing the feet to break the surface, but a break at the surface means a break in propulsion. A great freestyler kicks to the surface, but not through the surface.
