Experience an incredible week at the Nike Water Polo Camp in Aptos, California, hosted at Cabrillo College Aquatics Facility! Come join, George-Paul Scheppler, Cabrillo College's Women's Water Polo Head Coach, for an unparalleled water polo/student-athlete training camp experience. The week-long program features wet and dry skill development through innovative coaching techniques, ensuring each participant can elevate their water polo skills.
During our morning session campers learn about active recovery, mobility, film study, calisthenic fitness, time management, athletic nutrition, and how to navigate playing at the collegiate level. From the gymnasium to the classroom, our campers leave confident and better equipped to handle the little things necessary to succeed as a student-athlete.
Designed by the top coaches and athletes in the country, Nike Water Polo Camps provide in-water instruction to make an immediate impact on an athlete’s game. Young athletes will have the opportunity to learn firsthand how College Athletes train, meet their nutritional needs, and balance their lives.

Directing camp is, Cabrillo's Head Women's Water Polo Coach, George Paul Scheppler. In Coach Scheppler's first season at the helm Women's Water Polo saw unprecedented sucsess placing 3rd overall in the North California Tournament with a roster built around 3 All-Americans.

SECURE YOUR SPOT!
You can expect a high demand for these first-come-first-served camper spots, so please be sure to register early. This summer, Cabrillo is offering one session of day camp (9:00am-4:00pm) for ages 14-18. Upon arrival at camp, campers are placed in groups with other players having similar abilities and goals. Our camp staff will do their best to accommodate your needs, keeping in consideration your experience and desire to improve.

- Program: The Skills Camp program is designed for high school players (Ages 14-18). This program focuses on advanced skills, position specific training for divers, shooters, goalies and 2 meter offense & defense, team concepts and an overall intense level of competition. Campers also have the opportunity to compete daily in games against each other.

- Team Discount: If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. After all team members have successfully registered, contact us to receive a $25 refund per camper.
CAMP CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
- Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers will receive a Nike Water Polo Camps t-shirt and prizes.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience per the director's discretion.
- Equipment Needed: Please bring your water polo suit, swim cap, and towel(s)
- Facility: Aquatics Center
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours, so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
