Whether you've been competing in the Junior Olympics for years, or you've never done a sport but love to run, this camp is for you!
The Nike Cross Country Camp at Amherst College is led by Head Men's and Women's Cross Country/Distance Coach, Hannah Chappell-Dick and offers athletes aged 9-13 the opportunity to elevate their running abilities - whether that be learning the fundamentals of proper running technique or chasing down a new PR through new drills and form analysis.
Campers will train at Amherst College's premier 8-lane track & field center, as well as along the scenic Norwottuck bike path and stunning trails around Book & Plow farm. Campers will do light workouts focused on form, learn dynamic drills, and play fun running-related games. We can't wait to show you more reasons to love running!
This camp is for kids who want to learn more about cross country and track & field - specifically events 400m and longer.
