Golf Channel Academy Opens Junior Golf Camps at Bethpage Golf Course on Long Island, NY
Bethpage Golf Course and Golf Channel Academy instructor, Kelley Brooke, set to host junior golf camps in 2018.
March 16, 2018 – US Sports Camps, operators of Golf Channel Academy Junior Camps, recently announced a new location at Bethpage Golf Course on Long Island, New York. Located in Farmingdale, Golf Channel Academy Junior Camps, Bethpage Golf Course will offer half and full day camps throughout July. Directed by Golf Channel Academy instructor, Kelley Brooke, this program focuses on leading junior players to becoming better golfers through technical skill work in a fun learning environment.

Kelley Brooke, a protégé of Butch Harmon, is the owner and director of instruction of the Golf Channel Academy with Kelley Brooke which operates at four locations in the New York metro area (Long Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn and Staten Island). A Golf Range Magazine "Top 50 Golf Instructor", Kelley has hosted several golf television shows on cable, most recently “Golfing NYC Style” and “The 19th Hole.”

Bethpage Golf Course, a mecca for public golf, features five 18-hole regulation golf courses including the world-renowned Black Course which played host to the US Open in 2002 and 2009. Centrally located between the north and south shores of Long Island minutes from the Expressway, Bethpage’s location makes for easy access to golfers across the area.
Golf Channel Academy Junior Camps at Bethpage GC offers programs for three week-long sessions (M-F) in 2018. Full day camps run 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily and include instruction covering all facets of the game, golf etiquette and terminology seminars, skills challenges and games, and supervised afternoon course play on Thursday and Friday. The half day camps run from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. daily and include instruction and fun skills games. The camps are co-ed and available for golfers of all abilities, ages 5-12 (varies by program).
