Nike Junior Golf Camps Partners With The Philadelphia Junior Tour
Nike Junior Golf Camps to serve as a tournament partner for the Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour (PJT) in 2018.
April 10, 2018 – US Sports Camps recently announced their commitment as a tournament partner for the Philadelphia Junior Tour, a series of Philadelphia Section PGA junior events that take place March through November. In return for their designation as tournament partner, the PJT has agreed to promote Nike Junior Golf Camp programs in an effort to provide more quality learning opportunities for junior golfers throughout the region.
“The PJT runs fantastic events for junior golfers and we happen to offer several summer camps that cater to the same audience within the same geographic area,” says Jason West, senior vice president for Nike Junior Golf Camps. “The collaboration hopefully gives PJT members another vehicle to hone their skills and reach their potential through our junior camp offerings.”
The Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour (PJT) was established in 1979 to provide first class junior events within the section’s geographic boundaries. The Tour has over 875 junior members and continues to grow in stature and size every year. The PJT runs 90 events each season from March through November at facilities in the eastern half of Pennsylvania, the southern half of New Jersey, the entire state of Delaware and a few counties in northeast Maryland.
“With PJT members located across the geography of our Section, Nike Junior Golf Camps has the ability to offer first class instruction to our entire membership,” says Brian Schulte, tournament director for the Philadelphia Section PGA. “Our relationship adds value to our junior golfers by providing them an opportunity to take their game to the next level.”
Nike Junior Golf Camps offers 140 camp locations in the United States and several within driving distance of Philadelphia.

About the Philadelphia Section PGA
Established in 1921, the Philadelphia Section PGA (PPGA) is one of 41 geographical sections of The PGA of America. Each section serves as the managing entity for their designated regions. The Philadelphia Section covers Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, from Trenton – south, Delaware and parts of Northern Maryland. This section manages 850 PGA Members and Apprentices who are employed at over 400 golf facilities in our region.
