US Sports Camps Adds Golf Camp Location in Stone Mountain, Georgia
Smoke Rise Country Club and PGA Member, Josh Deal, set to host Nike Junior Golf Camps.
December 20, 2017 – US Sport Camps has launched junior golf camps near Atlanta, GA for players of all skill levels. Smoke Rise Country Club, located in Stone Mountain, serves as the host site for two weeks of camp. Directed by PGA Class “A” Professional, Josh Deal, this program is designed to give junior golfers the tools to improve and enjoy the game.
“Atlanta has long been a great market for Nike Camps and we’re pleased to be adding programs at Smoke Rise CC,” says Nicholas Brunner, vice president of Nike Junior Golf Camps. “Josh is passionate about teaching juniors and growing the game of golf and brings an experienced staff of instructors to the table, as well.”
Josh is entering his first season as Head Golf Professional at Smoke Rise Country Club. Prior to joining the team at Smoke Rise, Josh was the PGA Head Golf Professional at Woodloch Springs CC in Hawley, PA where he landed his first experience with running Nike Junior Camps.
“Nike Junior Golf Camps are an unbelievable opportunity for any motivated junior player,” explains Josh Deal PGA. “We all understand the importance of teaching the game to our youth. My love for the game has given me the drive to impact junior golfers and help make them better for a lifetime.”
Nike Junior Golf Camps at Smoke Rise Country Club offers half-day and full-day programs Tuesday – Friday. Camp instruction includes emphasis on putting, short game, full swing, rules/etiquette, strategy and more. The camps run from 9:00AM – Noon and 9:00AM – 4:00PM, respectively, and are suitable for golfers ages 7-16 (ages may vary by program option).
