Nike Junior Golf Camps in New Orleans Announces New Location at Bayou Oaks
Bayou Oaks at City Park and PGA Head Golf Professional, Alex Abbruzza, set to host Nike Junior Golf Camps in 2018.
January 2, 2018 – Nike Junior Golf Camps recently announced an agreement with Bayou Oaks Golf Courses to bring in the summer camps for local players. Located in New Orleans City Park, Nike Junior Golf Camps, Bayou Oaks at City Park will offer half and full day camps in June. Directed by PGA Head Golf Professional at Bayou Oaks, Alex Abbruzza, this program focuses on leading junior players to becoming better golfers through technical skill work in a fun learning environment.

Alex Abbruzza recently took the position of Head Golf Professional after the opening of the new South Course. Coach Abbruzza recently worked as an Assistant Golf Professional at the world-famous TPC Sawgrass and has a tremendous background in swing instruction and player development.

Bayou Oaks is a beautiful, 36-hole public facility in the Lake Shore Vista district of New Orleans. Campers will be dropped off each day at the North Course where there are large practice facilities for morning instruction. Daily course play for full day campers will happen at both the South and North Courses.
Nike Junior Golf Camps at Bayou Oaks offers programs for three week-long sessions (Monday - Friday) in 2018. Full day camps run 9:00am – 4:00pm daily and include morning instruction, lunch, and supervised afternoon course play with the camp staff. The half day camps run from 9:00AM – Noon daily and include morning instruction only. The camps are co-ed and available for players of all abilities, ages 7-16 (varies by program).
