Camp Director Alejandro Justiniani
Alex has over 30,000 hours of teaching experience and is a 5.0 rated player who brings 18 years of teaching experience to the resort program, including 12 at Sea Colony.View Alejandro's Bio ⟩
Alex is a USPTA Elite professional and a PTR certified professional who has achieved certifications in all four PTR pathways: Adult Development, Junior Development (10 & Under and 11-17) and Performance. He also holds specialized certifications in Cardio Tennis and Wheelchair Tennis. In 2021 he was named USTA's DD and Middle States teaching professional of the year and he was also named Delaware’s 2012 & 2021 PTR Pro of The Year. He was also Tennis Industry Magazine's 2013 Top 30 Under 30 professionals in the country.
Alex specializes in high performance training for all ages. During his time at Sea Colony, he has trained and helped hundreds of collegiate athletes achieve their goals. He uses the newest innovative methods and technology available in the industry.
Before rejoining Sea Colony, Alex was the Director of Tennis of Cattail Creek Country Club in Howard County, MD. As a player, he competed in ITF and Futures Circuit in the United States, Mexico and Europe. As a junior, Justiniani trained at the world renowned Van Der Meer Tennis Academy in Hilton Head Island, SC.
Coach Jason Garriotte
Jason is a PPR certified professional who currently competes in PPA Tour events.View Jason's Bio ⟩
He is a DUPR top 50 ranked player and a top 100 pickleball player in the world. Before making his transition to Pickleball full time, he was a competitive tennis player who competed in over 30 ITF Futures events and was ranked as high as 301 as a US ranked professional. Jason comes to Sea Colony with a wealth of knowledge as he has coached pickleball for the past 5 years.
Coach Bill Wissinger
Bill is PTR (Professional Tennis Registry) and PPR (Professional Pickleball Registry) certified and possesses over 35 years of racquet sports experience.View Bill's Bio ⟩
Bill leads the pickleball program at Sea Colony in the summer and is also the pickleball tournament director for Sea Colony.
Certified in Adult Development, 11-17 Development, Cardio Tennis, Pickleball and High-Performance Tennis, and also serves as a foundation referee for the USTA. He moved to lower Delaware in July of 2020 and joined the Sea Colony team in July of 2021.

We offer 8-hour adult pickleball clinics that run Friday (1:00pm-4:00pm), Saturday (1:00pm-4:00pm) and Sunday (8:00am-10:00pm) for intermediate to advanced players ages 18+.
- Check-in: 1:00pm Friday

- Daily Schedule: Friday 1:00pm-4:00pm, Saturday 1:00pm-4:00pm, Sunday 8:00am-10:00am
Please note: This is a Day Camp only and runs during the hours listed above. The camp tuition DOES NOT include housing. Campers are required to provide their own overnight accommodations.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY
- Ratio: 4:1 camper to coach ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
- Equipment Needed: All campers must bring a pickleball paddle, athletic shoes and a water bottle
- Facility: Sea Colony Beach Resort was named 2012 USTA Facility of the Year. Click here to read more. With 34 courts, including indoor, outdoor, Har-Tru clay and hard courts, the tennis and pickleball facilities are a haven for tennis enthusiast throughout the region.
- Inclement Weather Plan: Indoor courts are available for use as needed
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

August 7, 2023: All the instructors were great! Alex, Jason, Mike, Chris, & Tim were wonderful coaches and made the camp so much fun, regardless of the skill level!
July 13, 2023: The camp was very well run. All the participants were at the same playing level which made the experience beneficial. The coaches were extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
June 6, 2023: The staff- starting from the top and including the instructors. Besides their infinite patience and teaching skills, they were also extremely accommodating with a problem with my schedule conflict and gave me the opportunity for individualized teaching at Sea Colony. It was wonderul!!
