- Training Camp: For competitive swimmers ages 8-18. The term “training camp” has a long-standing tradition in competitive swimming, where swimmers undergo a focused week of intense physical activity to get a jump start on future competitions or the start of a new season. At PEAK, we proudly put our own spin on it and go above and beyond. We start by creating an “eagle mindset” where swimmers learn focus, determination, and a positive attitude lead to better performance. Next we add four hours a day of intensive in-water training, purposeful teaching, daily motivational mind power workshops, dynamic dry-land training, and soothing yoga. The combined PEAK experience toughens swimmers mentally, boosts fitness and confidence, and improves essential swimming skills. Learn from the PEAK pros and get the winning edge!
- 12 & OVER CAMP: For competitive swimmers ages 12-18. The 12 & Over Camp is our most challenging training level and builds throughout the week in both intensity and expectation. State-of-the-art skill progressions are combined with challenging swim sets, and swimmers are tested during the week to maintain their newly acquired skills. Swimmers are assigned to lanes based on their current skill and performance level.
- 11 & UNDER CAMP: For competitive swimmers ages 9-11. The 11 & Under Camp is our lead-up training level to the 12 & OVER CAMP. While both camps follow the same format, the skill progressions and challenging swim sets are adjusted for younger swimmers. Swimmers are assigned to lanes based on their current skill and performance level.
Note: This is NOT a learn-to-swim program, but specifically designed for competitive swimmers who can perform multiple lengths of all four strokes and the official starts and turns.

PEAK'S COMMITMENT TO CAMPER WELLNESS
It is with passion and great pleasure that we conduct Peak Performance Swim Camps and Clinics year-round, and have the opportunity to meet and coach swimmers around the world. However, it is of utmost importance to PEAK that we maintain an environment in which transmission of the COVID-19 virus is significantly reduced. We have taken enhanced health and safety measures – for our campers and our staff. The following procedures for all campers and their families must be adhered to during our camps and clinics.
- Campers must wear a mask upon arrival and departure each day, and during non-exercise physical activities. Masks should fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin.
- Campers must arrive and depart each day in their swimsuit underneath their dry-land clothing.
- Locker rooms will be closed, so campers will not be allowed to change or shower before/after camp.
- Restroom use is limited to 1 camper at a time.
- Bring your own water bottle, properly labeled and already filled.
- Do not bring personal pool equipment such as fins, pull buoys, or kick boards.
- Upon arrival each day, swimmers will be screened and their temperature will be taken before entering the pool facility.
- Parents should drive their vehicle up to the designated drop-off location, where a PEAK staff member will greet you. The swimmer will remain in the car and roll down their window, while our staff administers a forehead temperature check and daily COVID screening. When complete, the swimmer may exit their car and proceed to their designated waiting area before entering the pool.
- Parents and other family members may not stay in the facility during the camp to observe the sessions, as the facility is closed to spectators.
- PEAK staff will wear a mask upon daily arrival and departure, and maintain 6 feet social distancing throughout camp activities.
- Additional adjustments are in place to maintain social distancing such as: smaller camp size, limited registration, fewer swimmers per lane, and signage and ground markings. Swimmers are designated an area to place personal belongings and a waiting area before entering the pool.
- PEAK staff have been instructed on extended virus safety precautions and have been reminded to wash their hands regularly. Hand sanitizer will also be used routinely by campers and staff between camp activities.
- Cleaning and disinfection procedures are enhanced throughout camp operations and the host pool facility.
- If a camper consistently does not respect and adhere to social distancing guidelines, they may be asked to sit out.
- Any swimmer experiencing any symptoms of fever, recent cough, unusual fatigue, headache, difficulty breathing, or has been exposed to someone who has any symptoms should remain home and seek medical treatment.
- If any camper has a fever or symptoms of illnesses, they may not attend camp until 14 days after the fever or other symptoms has ceased.
- Campers must see a physician and be cleared for participation after being diagnosed or suspected of having COVID-19.
- For everyone’s health and safety, we ask PEAK campers and staff to please practice responsible social distancing when they are away from the pool.
Peak Performance Swim Camp is following social distancing and sanitizing guidelines as it relates to COVID-19 as set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), local government authorities, and USA Swimming. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present; we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit.

Worth every penny!
November 26, 2018: Our competitive swim athlete has attended 7 Peak Performance Swim Camps around the country and has excelled in her technique, confidence, knowledge and abilities in the sport of swimming. All of the Coaches are excellent, well-qualified and have years of experience to share with your child. They are an outstanding team of professionals. Every facility has been a good training ground and this is a well-oiled machine. Buy the privates with different Coaches; especially with Coach Baker and the videos they can take home. Expect results that are worth every penny!

Thank you for all you have done for me!
January 21, 2017: Dear Coach Nick, I’m sorry I won’t be able to join you for swim camp in Orlando next month. But it’s for a good reason. I qualified for Summer Junior Nationals after a 5 second drop in the 200 back (LC) in March from a 2:22.02 to a 2:17.65. I just missed the Olympic Trials cut by 1 second! I also dropped 5 seconds in 200 back short course going a 1:59.33 and coming in second in State (Illinois). A few weeks ago I also qualified for the 100 back at Junior Nationals. I know that a lot of my success in swimming was due to the 4 summer camps with you in Orlando and a few weekend clinics with PEAK. You taught me so much about being physically strong, mentally strong, and technically strong. Everything really came together for me this winter and spring when I was able to drop a lot of time in my best events. I am excited to swim at Juniors at the end of Summer. Hopefully I will make finals! I remember when you told me that someday that I would make Junior and Senior Nationals, swim D1, and be the captain of my college swim team. I have two more years of high school and I will keep you updated! Thank you for all you have done for me.

Most meaningful role in my swimming career!
January 5, 2017: Dear Coach Nick, I am very excited and a bit emotional that I will be soon attending my final winter Orlando camp as a swimmer. I have thoroughly enjoyed every single camp and clinic and have never failed to go back home with a multitude of mental and technical skills. There comes a time in every swimmer’s career (several times actually) where they get to truly reflect on their accomplishments and triumphs as well as their shortcomings and failures that shaped them into the athlete they have become. This final, senior year has been my time to ponder on all of my age-group years and connect them to the possibilities that are to arrive for me in the future. As I think about everything, the first thing that comes to my mind are the years I have spent under your guidance at Peak Performance. I have never encountered a coach that paid so much attention to me and internally believed in my abilities. You never failed to give me honest advice that extended past simple technical adjustments and because of you I emerged both a tougher and more conscientious athlete. I recently committed to swim for a Division 1 program at Louisiana State University and study within their Honors College. You have played the most meaningful role in my swimming over the last 10 years. If I had never stepped onto the pool deck at your camp 9 years ago, I do not think I would have ever amassed all this knowledge and insight into this sport. Thank you, Nick, for helping me develop as a swimmer and instilling the confidence and self-belief that I can truly accomplish what I set out to do. I look forward to making this final camp a positive and memorable one. See you soon.

Thank you again for everything you do!
February 2, 2016: Coach Baker, my daughter has attended the Peak Performance Swim Camp in Orlando for many, many years. She is now a senior in high school. She has Junior National times in the 100Fly, 100Back, 200Fly and 200Back. She will be signing her National Letter of Intent this week to be a scholarship athlete, swimming for Division 1 school Georgia Tech. I truly believe that her many hours spent with Peak Performance and her privates with you every year helped her achieve this goal. Thank you again for everything you do for the kids and the swimming community. All the best!

Inspiration!
January 29, 2015: Thank you for the care, knowledge, and support you have given to my daughter. Both of us believe that her achievements over the years are mainly due to your teaching. As always your camp was great and you were an inspiration to her.

Thank you so much!
January 17, 2015: Coach Nick, we want to thank you again so much for all you’ve brought to our daughter during the 3 PEAK camps she’s attended in 2015. She has progressed strongly and is truly passionate about swimming – thanks to a very large extent to what she’s learned with you. It was definitely worth the trip from Belgium! We are booked to come back again to the Orlando Winter Camp and look forward to seeing you soon.

Amazing!
February 3, 2014: My son participated in your camp this past Christmas break in Orlando. He was in PEAK 1. Upon his return home, he swam in a major competition in Toronto. I honestly did not recognize him. His strokes were so long and smooth and his turns were faster than I have ever seen before. He improved his times in every event and made finals in everything. You do amazing work.

See you again soon!
January 3, 2014: Hello Mr. Baker - I wanted to keep you up to date on Dalton. He was at your camp in Orlando this last December. After going to your camp he not only improved his times but took 1st place for the 500 y free at the Cherokee County swim meet for high school swimming and went onto State with a time of 5:02, also getting 2nd in state for the 200 Free and going to state for the same. Although not moving onto the finals, for 16 years old and just starting swimming 2 1/2 years ago he did great and even better thanks to your help. They just announced the all-county swim team for Cherokee county and he was one of five from his school to get selected. He dropped almost 20 seconds from last year on the 500 free and 6 on the 200 free. His fly and breast stroke improved considerably, he still needs to work on those but over the next year and seeing you again I am sure it will improve considerably. Thank you and he will definitely be seeing you again for more help in the next year.

Best swim camp ever!
January 22, 2013: I just wanted to thank you for the best swim camp ever. Over the past four years I’ve attended four different swim camps. I learned more and improved more in your camp than all the other swim camps combined. What I liked most was the way your taught stroke technique and your positive attitude. You also know how to make swimming fun. My coach couldn’t believe my strokes when I got home. He said he would only recommend your camp from now on. Next summer my parents said I can come for the whole summer. Thanks again.

January 19, 2013: My daughter was in the winter Orlando camp. She was stuck on some times for the past 6 months, not really improving. After the camp, the drag chute was removed. She has gone from middle of the pack to top, finishing a 90 swimmer event in 1st place (50M Free). Can you forward to me contact infromation for her coach at the Orlando Camp? He was instrumental in her success. I want to thank him personally as well as the folks and Nick at the Camp. It is a pleasure to see an athlete perform at their potential. Thank you PPSC.
