Peak Performance Swim Camp returns to Orlando, Florida, to offer a speed camp for competitive swimmers. Our 2-day START & TURN CAMP provides two levels of specialized training for 12 & Over and 11 & Under swimmers. PEAK coaches are masters at teaching racing techniques, and our low swimmer-to-coach ratio is the best in the industry. If speed is what you seek, come to PEAK!

Open to age group and senior-level swimmers, ages 8-18, who currently compete at a local, regional, state, or national level. To maximize the benefits of the clinic, swimmers are assigned to lanes based on their current skill and performance level versus age.

  • Start and Turn Camp: For competitive swimmers ages 8-18. Our 2-day Start & Turn Camp covers the front, back, and relay starts, plus the four-stroke turns. It’s the complete package over one weekend!
    Starts and turns are the two weak links in competitive racing and can cost vital seconds, but we have the solution! Our start progressions improve speed and distance off the block. And our turn progressions teach swimmers how to plan the wall, turn with speed, and travel further underwater off the wall. Enhancing starts and turns is a fast way to boost performance and a smart investment in the future.

Note: This is NOT a learn-to-swim program, but specifically designed for competitive swimmers who can perform multiple lengths of all four strokes and the official starts and turns. Swimmers are assigned to lanes based on ability level. The daily skill progressions and challenging swim sets are adjusted to reflect skill and performance levels.

There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to drop off and pick up your child on time.


Lunch is NOT provided each day. Please bring a healthy lunch and snacks each day.

  • Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
  • Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers will receive a Peak Swim Camps t-shirt and prizes.
  • Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience.
  • Equipment Needed: Please bring your water swimsuit, swim cap, googles and towel(s)
  • Facility: Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center
  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

The daily curriculum includes two in-water training sessions (2 hours each), video review, and motivational mental skills training. The combined PEAK experience toughens swimmers mentally, boosts fitness and confidence, and improves essential swimming skills.

Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center boasts two Olympic-size pools, one regular pool, and an endless pool/spa. The center is one of the seven drylands diving performance centers.

Camp Questions & Answers

Where can I find the Health & Release Form?

In order for a swimmer to participate in the camp, the mandatory Health & Release Form must be completed, signed, and turned in BEFORE the camp commences. The Health & Release Form can be found at - secure.ussportscamps.com/welcome.

How are swimmers grouped at camp?

Lane assignments will be based on your best 100 Free time. We will ask you to email us your best 100 Free time when we send out the registration packet before camp. If you do not submit the correct time, then there is a strong chance that you will be placed in the wrong lane, and will not fully benefit from the clinic training. Thank you for your assistance!

    A Huge Thank You!

    April 12, 2018: We are just getting up after our long drive home from the Orlando Spring Camp yesterday. And although there is much to do…I have to stop and give Coach Baker, Coach Gregg, and all the coaches and assistants a huge Thank You! There is nothing like picking your kids up from camp and hearing stories for 6+ hours…basically until they fall asleep. Everything the kids talked about was so positive; camp had way more of an impact than we expected! Our daughter did most of the talking. While she talked about all her friends she made and the fun things they did, she also told us so much about what she learned and that she is ready to get in the water and put it into place. She has a new level of excitement about swimming. I was shocked when I arrived at the National Training Center yesterday to pick up my children. My son looked like he had grown a few inches. While I don’t think he grew physically in a few days, I think he is now standing/walking more confidently and looks taller. His technique is not perfect, but in sending him to camp I was really hoping for him to grow mentally, in confidence. In the little conversation he and I have had since picking him up, he seems so much better/stronger mentally and is really focused on things Coach Baker and Coach Gregg talked to him about and tools (videos) they suggested he watch. We are really looking forward to seeing the kids swim with their PEAK skills and attitude! I can’t thank Coach Baker and the coaches/folks at PEAK enough. Such a positive and profound impact on our kids! We are already looking at the PEAK schedule and trying to figure out the best time to get back to another PEAK camp. Thank you, and see you soon!

    I have learned so much!

    Definitely worth the trip!

    April 23, 2017: Coach Nick, we want to thank you again so much for all you’ve brought to our daughter during the 3 PEAK camps she’s attended in 2016 and 2017.     Abundant attention!

    April 21, 2017: The coaches do a great job engaging the kids. The kids really listen to the coaches and gain confidence that they can do better. I also liked the fact that this was a smaller group so my swimmer had abundant attention from Coach Baker and the other coaches. Also the camp had such a positive energy from the coaches, which made my swimmer very comfortable, and part of the group.

    Inspired my son to be better!

    April 1, 2016: I just wanted to share our positive story! My son attended your Spring Camp in Orlando for the second time. For him, it was an another amazing experience like the first time. For me, as a mom, who attends every single practice every day, it has been rewarding because I have seen the progress in technique and attitude in practice as well as in meets. This past weekend we had our first meet since the camp, and it is with great pride and joy to tell you that all of my son’s times went down!!! And he is getting really close to qualifying for National LC Championships in Puerto Rico. His times not only went down, but they decreased significantly. In the 100m Free, his entry time was 1:27.00 and he finished first in his heat with 1:21.51!!! Every night when my son goes to bed, he reads Coach Baker’s book, 101 Winning Ways. Thanks, Coach Nick and PEAK Coaches, for inspiring my son to be better! Hope to come back to another camp soon!!!

    April 1, 2016: You asked me to send you my results from my last meet. Well, you were right, I swam awesome. I won 7 out of 7 events and high point! It felt so amazing. My mind was free of all the stuff I usually think about. I tried the mental ideas you taught me, it felt so easy to swim fast! My strokes and turns felt really smooth and fast. Everybody told me I looked great. My coach and parents couldn't believe how well I swam. Everyone kept coming up to me and congratulating me. They wondered what I had done to swim so fast. I just smiled at them. I don't want anyone to know my secret. You are the greatest coach ever. One visit to your camp made all the difference. I plan to come see you this summer.     Great Camp!

    April 10, 2015: Attending your camp was one of the most memorable experiences my daughter has ever had. Megan had a blast and said she learned a great deal and worked harder than she had in a very long time. She is very anxious and excited to get started with the short course season.     April 10, 2015: Just wanted to say thanks again for an outstanding two days of instruction. As you may recall, we left straight from Orlando for a weeks’ vacation. Upon returning we went to a three-day meet in Virginia. Lauren dropped 46 seconds and achieved three NAG times. After her last race she leaped from the pool, ran across the deck to deliver a hug of excitement. I have never seen a smile so big. What else can we say but THANKS!
