Calen Carr discusses his road from attending local summer camps to playing at the Division I level. He describes how the surreal moments led to being drafted in the 2006 MLS draft and playing professional soccer for 6 years. Now that his playing career has come to an end, Carr discusses how his work with the MLS carries on to help promote and show the growth of the soccer culture in the United States. Carr hosts his own show titled "The Movement" and even was the first MLS broadcaster to interview Zlatan Ibrahimovic after his big transfer to the LA Galaxy. Carr discusses the experience of chatting with Zlatan himself and meeting the real life lion. Carr wraps up the conversation with connecting everything back to overcoming challenges and continuing to push forward no mater what obstacles get in the way.
