Campers from Southern California and beyond are invited to train with Nike Camp Director, Zoe Varela Beltz, and her elite staff at Helix Charter High School! Athletes of all abilities will receive high quality instruction in a fun and competitive environment.
This summer volleyball camp in San Diego is open to girls, ages 10-17, looking to unleash their potential and take their skills to the next level with a variety of programs to choose from. Campers will have the opportunity to play with other volleyball players with the same love for the sport and prepare for the upcoming season.

ALL SKILLS CAMPS
- Session I: June 26-29

- Daily Hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-3:00pm
- Check-in: 8:30am on Monday
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided, please bring a sack lunch to camp each day.
- Program: The All Skills program This program is designed to improve the fundamental skills needed for volleyball; passing, setting, serving, attacking, blocking, and individual defense. Campers can expect instruction on offensive and defensive skills through team play.
EVENING INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED CAMP
- Dates: June 26-29
- Gender/Ages: Girls, Ages 13-17
- Daily Hours: Monday-Thursday, 4:00pm-7:00pm
- Check-in: 3:30pm on Monday
- Meal: Meals are not provided.
- Program: The Intermediate/Advanced program is geared toward high school and club-level players (ages 13-17) with 1-3 years of competitive experience looking to improve in all aspects of the game. This competitive program stresses position play, advanced team techniques, and a higher level of play. Campers will receive elite instruction that will elevate and refine their technique and take their skills to the next level.
SERVING & PASSING CLINICS
- Session I: June 30
- Session II: July 14
- Gender/Ages: Girls, Ages 10-17
- Daily Hours: Friday, 9:00am-11:30am
- Check-in: 8:30am on Friday
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided.
- Program: The Serving & Passing program is designed for players to improve the strength of their serve and effectiveness of passing. The serving portion of the clinic will focus on the various techniques of serving, along with improving consistency. The passing portion of the clinic will focus on various passing techniques for both front row and back row passers, as well as all-around ball control techniques for all positions. Recommended for all players and positions.
*If you are planning to attend the Hitter & Setter Clinic after, please bring your lunch. Campers will be supervised between sessions.
HITTER & SETTER CLINIC
- Session I: June 30
- Session II: July 14
- Gender/Ages: Girls, Ages 10-17
- Daily Hours: Friday, 12:30pm-3:00pm
- Check-in:12:00pm on Friday
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided.
- Program: The Hitter & Setter program is designed to focus on the basic fundamentals of attacking and setting. The setting portion of the clinic will focus on mastering hand positioning, follow-through, footwork, and decision-making. The attacking portion of the clinic will focus on mastering their approach, footwork, and arm swing. Hitters and setters will be combined for maximum repetition, drills, and live gameplay. Recommended for players of all abilities.
EVENING OUTDOOR CAMP (SAND VOLLEYBALL)
- Dates: July 10-13
- Gender/Ages: Girls, Ages 10-17
- Daily Hours: Monday-Thursday, 4:30pm-7:30pm
- Check-in: 4:00pm on Monday
- Meals: Meals are not provided.
- Program: The Evening Outdoor program will take place on sand courts and is geared towards players of all abilities. Campers will work on mastering the proper fundamentals of volleyball through a mix of drills, games, and competitive play. Campers will utilize outdoor beach courts, with some outdoor grass rotations.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Morning, afternoon, and evening training sessions
- Meals: Meals are not provided. Please bring lunch or snacks each day.
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours
- Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Volleyball Camps t-shirt and prizes. *1-day clinics excluded.
- Volleyballs: Volleyballs are provided for instruction during camp. Campers may purchase a Camp Volleyball at the time of registration, which will be given out on the last day of camp. Fun tip: Have your camp friends sign your ball before you leave!
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience.
- Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own kneepads and have at least one pair of well-broken-in volleyball (court) shoes. Campers do not need to bring their own ball.
- Facility: Indoor courts, Outdoor beach courts, Outdoor grass courts
- A/C in Gym: N/A
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNTS
If you have a group of eight or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during check out. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.

Can I sign up for more than 1 session/program?
Absolutely! Campers are encouraged to attend multiple sessions. Each program delivers something unique to help players excel in all areas of the game. Many campers will attend more than one session to further refine their skills, compete against new players, or choose a session with a different program focus.
