Nike Baseball Camps
Register for our newest Nike Baseball Camp in the Seattle/Tacoma area at University of Puget Sound and enjoy elite-level coaching while making memories to last a lifetime. Open to players of all ability levels, the camp offers a unique opportunity to train under the direction of experienced coaches in a fun, competitive environment.
Overnight Camp
The overnight program includes instruction, fun games and competitions for prizes, overnight accommodation, all meals, fun evening activities, and more. The camp staff resides in the dormitories in adjacent rooms to the campers and provides supervision throughout the camp. The camp utilizes Silas High School Baseball field as its training facility.
Day Camp
The Nike Baseball Camp at the University of Puget Sound also offers a day camp program for campers who do not wish to stay overnight. This option includes instruction and daytime activities only. The schedule is modified on the first and last days of camp.
The Nike Baseball Camp at University of Puget Sound is open to any and all entrants and limited only by number, age and gender. The Nike Baseball Camp at University of Puget Sound is not owned, sponsored, co-sponsored or controlled by the University. Please note, campers and staff will be transported off-campus to nearby baseball facilities each day. The camp will not be utilizing the Puget Sound baseball team facility.

Westy McQueen is the owner and camp director for Next Athletes, operator of Nike Sports Camps. Westy has over 10 years of experience operating youth programs and has designed the Next Athletes programs with the purpose of providing a truly memorable, athletic development experience for each child.

Angel Trujillo is an assistant baseball coach at West Los Angeles College and serves as baseball director for Next Athletes and Nike Baseball Camps.

Certified Athletic Trainer Kulsum Baig
Kulsum Baig is a certified athletic trainer and handles all athletic training needs for Next Athletes’ Nike Sports Camps. With a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from San Diego State University and a Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Injury Management from the University of Kentucky, Kulsum has worked with athletes at the high school, collegiate, and clinical levels.

Camp Details
Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.
2025 SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION
- Dates: August 4-7, 2025
- Age Group: 8-17 (Day Camp) | 10-17 (Overnight)
- Gender: Boys
- Camp Type: Day & Overnight
- Day Camp Schedule: Monday-Thursday
- Check-in: 30 minutes prior to camp start time.
- Meals: Lunch in not provided. Please bring a snack/lunch to camp each day.
- First Day Check-In: Please use the linked campus map if you have any questions.
- Overnight Campers: 7:30-8:00am at Anderson/Langdon Hall.
- Day Campers: 8:00-8:30am for day campers at Anderson/Langdon Hall.
- Orientation (All Campers): 8:30-8:45am
- Last Day Check-Out: Following the closing ceremony at 3:30pm on Thursday at Anderson/Langdon Hall.
- Meals: Meals are provided for overnight campers only. Day campers are required to bring their own lunch daily.
- Apparel: All campers should arrive at check-in dressed in their athletic apparel and ready to train.
- Note: Following camp check-in, all overnight campers will have an opportunity to move into their room in the residence hall briefly but please come dressed in your athletic apparel for camp.
OVERNIGHT INFORMATION
- Check-in: On the first day of camp, check-in will be between 7:30-8:00am
- Check-in Location: Anderson/Langdon Hall.
- After overnight campers check in, parents and campers will receive their room and access cards and store their luggage in their assigned room.
- Campers should arrive at check-in dressed in their athletic apparel and ready to train.
- Check out: Following the closing ceremony at 3:30pm at Anderson/Langdon Hall.
- Meals: Day 1: Lunch, Dinner | Days 2-3: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Day 4: Breakfast, Lunch
- Room Key Deposit: Please bring a $50 check made out to “Next Athletes, LLC”
- Closing Ceremony: The closing ceremony will take place at Anderson/Langdon Hall starting at 3:00pm. Parents are invited to attend! Campers and parents will depart following the closing ceremony.
SUMMER DAY CAMP HOURS & MEALS
- Monday: 8:00am-4:00pm. Meals are not provided.
- Tuesday-Wednesday: 9:00am-4:00pm. Meals are not provided. Day campers must pack a lunch.
- Thursday: 9:00am-3:30pm. Check-out is following the 3:30pm closing ceremony. Meals are not provided.
- The closing ceremony will take place at Anderson/Langdon Hall at 3:00pm. Parents are invited to attend! Campers and parents will depart following the closing ceremony.
- Meals: Day campers are required to bring their own lunch daily.

HOUSING
- Dorm: Anderson/Langdon Hall
- Number of Campers Per Room: 2 per room
- Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
- Bathrooms: Shared
- Linens: Not included. Bring linens (Twin XL) or a sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel.
- Air Conditioning: Yes
The housing information is based on previous years and is subject to change.
SUPERVISION
Both campers and parents are invited to join us for evening educational seminars during the week. Seminar topics will include college recruiting, expectations of a college athlete, and the different paths kids can take in sports. We also offer opportunities for Q&A with each panel of coaches.

Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Baseball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.
