NIKE BASKETBALL CAMP INSTRUCTION (DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL CAMPERS)

Play the sport you love and get better this summer with our excellent Nike Basketball Camp staff of collegiate athletes and veteran coaches. Campers are expected to work hard, be receptive to coaching, exhibit discipline, have a strong work ethic, and be serious about basketball. As a staff we pride ourselves in being a teaching camp first with scrimmages and contests will take place throughout the week. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability. A closing ceremony will take place on the last day prior to check-out for. Parents are invited to attend the closing ceremony!

NIKE BASKETBALL CAMP + ELS LANGUAGE PROGRAM (INTERNATIONAL CAMPERS ONLY)

International campers have the option to enroll in the Nike Basketball Camp + ELS Language Program at Curry College. This program combines morning ELS classes (Monday-Thursday from 7:30am-9:10am) with a full day of basketball instruction with American kids and fun evening activities on campus. ELS classes are for international campers looking to gain confidence in their conversational English skills. All levels welcome. Extend your stay! TRANSPORTATION

Flights and ground transportation are not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using Boston Preferred Car Service. For more information and to book a Boston Preferred Car Service, please call 781-816-3851 or email info@bostonpreferred.com. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day. Campers cannot arrive before July 7 or leave after August 1.

MEDICAL INSURANCE (INTERNATIONAL CAMPERS ONLY)

All campers must be medically insured while at camp. If you do not have medical insurance or medical insurance that covers you in the U.S., you can purchase supplemental health coverage through us during registration for an additional $65 which will cover you for an entire month starting the day you arrive to camp.

Registration Packet

A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. The US Sports Camps health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp. The State of Massachusetts requires a copy of camp participants’ most recent physical and record of immunizations, shots, etc., in addition to the US Sports Camps health and release form.

Scholarships

We cannot offer scholarships due to NCAA regulations. Our affiliation with NCAA coaches and schools puts us in a position where any scholarship money can be seen as an inducement to a future collegiate athlete. This puts our coaches and our host universities in jeopardy of damaging their status with the NCAA and incurring penalties at the hands of their organizing body.

*Please note, this information is subject to change.

The staff was extremely friendly and personable!

August 6, 2017: The basketball coaching staff was extremely friendly and personable. Coach Keith talked to me on a one on one level about my personal development and gave me confidence while encouraging me to strive for greatness. He rallied every camper together with his “basketball yoga” which was the highlight of the morning session. He was my highlight!

    My son loved it all!

July 6, 2016: This was my son's 2nd year at camp and once again, he had an amazing time. My son loved it all. From the lunch and dinner, to the field trips, and being able to do what he loves best, play basketball. He never wanted to come home at pick up because that's just how much fun he was having! I love how the owner, directors, and staff keep the children safe. They make safety a priority especially with the younger kids.

We are from Indonesia and felt very welcomed at camp.

July 26, 2016: This camp is well run. Everything was arranged well. We felt very welcomed. We are from Indonesia, we flew from Indonesia to Boston for our holiday and this was the first time for my son to join a US basketball camp and he enjoyed it a lot. I hope my son can ask some of his friends from Indonesia to join the camp together next year.
