This Nike Football Skills Development Camp is designed for football players age 8-18 looking to improve their skills in a safe and controlled setting. Join us at Tyler Junior College in the heart of Beast Texas for a week of football training and fun. You will receive high-level instruction and learn how to play the game the right way!
This will be a great opportunity to enhance your footwork, fundamentals, position play, and more. Head Coach Tanner Jacobson and Camp Director Jacob Donohoe have planned an incredible week that will ensure your camper leaves with valuable lessons on and off the field. A great opportunity for any young athlete looking to improve their game, have fun, make new friends, and raise their confidence.

Director Jacob Donohoe
Jacob Donohoe joined the Tyler Junior College coaching staff as the offensive line coach / run game coordinator in July 2022, he is also responsible for coaching the running backs.

Coach Tanner Jacobson
Tyler Junior College named Tanner Jacobson as their next head football coach on April 20, 2022. "I am excited and thankful to continue my career as head coach at Tyler Junior College," said Jacobson. "I am driven by examples of coaches and mentors that made an impact in my life as a player and coach. I look forward to this opportunity to mentor many young student-athletes here in Tyler and to have an impact on these kids, similar to how my coaches impacted me."

Coach Brady Davis
Davis began his coaching career at Tyler Junior College in the summer of 2021. Working with the Quarterbacks and Tight Ends along with serving as the recruiting coordinator. Davis worked with QB General Booty who led the NJCAA in numerous passing categories as a true freshman. In the spring of 2022 Davis was elevated to offensive coordinator while still being the primary position coach for both Quarterbacks and Tight Ends.

Coach Terrence Louis
Terrence Louis, from New Orleans, Louisiana, relocated to Houston, Texas after Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. Graduated High School in 2011 from Stratford HS in Houston, and went on to NMMI in Roswell, New Mexico. Former Grambling State University Walk On.

Coach David Johnson
Coach David Johnson has joined the Apache Football Staff as the Safeties Coach, bringing with him a highly successful playing career. Johnson is a graduate of South Oak Cliff High School, where he not only excelled in the passing game but also set remarkable school and district records

Instruction will develop fundamentals and advanced skills, focusing on footwork, specific positions, team play, and game situations.

2024 CAMP INFORMATION
- Dates: June 10-13, 2024
- Age Group: 8-18
- Camp Type: Day Camp
- Schedule: 9:00am-2:00pm
- Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the camp start time.
- Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a snack/lunch to camp each day.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Daily Football Instruction
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours
- Nike Football Camp T-Shirt, Cinch Sack, Wristband, Sticker, and potentially other prizes!
INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
- Offensive Skills: Specific Position Skill Work, Hand-Eye Coordination, Ball Handling and Position, Passing Drills, Catching Drills, Proper Grip and Throwing, Running Routes
- Defensive Skills: Specific Position Skill Work, Explanation of Defenses (Zone/Man-to-Man), Footwork
Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are initially grouped by age and moved around accordingly based on skill level.
Facility: Outdoor Fields.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Football Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a group of campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during checkout. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.
