This Nike Football Skills Development Camp is designed for football players looking to improve their game this summer. All camp activities take place at Creighton Prep.
Offensive and defensive position drills follow a proper stretching and warm-up each day, along with fun football competitions. Campers will apply what they’ve learned earlier in the day and bring it to the field for exciting football games. This is a great opportunity for any young athlete looking to improve their game, have fun, make new friends, and raise their confidence.

Camp Coaches

Camp Director Tim Johnk
Coach Johnk played collegiately at the University of Nebraska for Coach Tom Osborne. He has been coaching high school football for 32 years. 25 of those years as a head coach where he has won 160 games. In 2012 Coach Johnk coached Gross Catholic to a class B state championship. He has lead Creighton Prep to the playoffs the last 8 years with Semi-Final appearances in 2017 & 2022

Camp Director AJ Hubner
AJ Hubner is entering his seventh season coaching at Creighton Prep and his second season as the quarterbacks coach. As a former quarterback at Prep, he was named to the First Team Super-State. During his tenure, he set state records for most passing yards in a season, most passing yards in a playoff series, and tied records for passing touchdowns in a game (twice) and passing touchdowns in a playoff game.

Coach Brian Mohnsen
Coach Mohnsen played college football for Coach Tom Osborne at the University of Nebraska. Coach Mohnsen has been coaching for over 25 years at the collegiate & high school levels. He has been the defensive coordinator for 5 years at Creighton Prep. Coach teaches PE & Health at Creighton Prep.

Creighton Prep Assistant Coaches & Players
Creighton Prep assistant coaches & players will also be helping Coach Johnk & Coach Mohnsen run the Creighton youth football camp.
Camp Details
Instruction will develop fundamentals and advanced skills, focusing on footwork, offensive and defensive skills, team play, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first-come first-serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

- Age Group: Rising 5th to 8th Graders
- Gender: Boys
- Camp Type: Half-Day Camp
- Schedule: Monday-Wednesday and Friday, 9:30am-12:00pm
- Check-In: Begins 15 minutes prior to camp start time
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a snack/lunch to camp each day.
Creighton Prep Middle School “FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS” Camp!
- Dates: June 20, 2025
- Schedule: 6:30pm-8:30pm
- Age Group: Rising 6th to 8th Graders
- Gender: Boys
- Equipment: T-shirt and shorts- no other football gear required.
- What to Bring: Football shoes and water.
- Location: Camp will be at the new North Football Field / Track complex at Creighton Prep.
- You can expect your son to have FUN while being able to compete against some of the best middle school players in the Omaha metro area.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Daily Football Instruction
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours
- Nike Football Camp T-Shirt, Cinch Sack, Wristband, Sticker, and potentially other prizes!
INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
- Offensive Skills: Specific Position Skill Work, Hand-Eye Coordination, Ball Handling and Position, Passing Drills, Catching Drills, Proper Grip and Throwing, Running Routes
- Defensive Skills: Specific Position Skill Work, Explanation of Defenses (Zone/Man-to-Man), Footwork
Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are initially grouped by age and moved around accordingly based on skill level.
Facility: Outdoor Fields. Indoor facilities are available during inclement weather conditions.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Football Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a group of campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during checkout. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.
