Director Chadd Braine

Chadd Braine is currently working at Saint Anselm College football program as the squad’s Defensive Backs Coach and Special Teams Coordinator.

Previously he was the Defensive Coordinator for East Stroudsburg University. With the Warriors in 2017, Braine mentored a defensive unit that led all divisions of NCAA college football in forced fumbles per game (3.09) while ranking second in fumble recoveries (23) and fifth nationally with 31 takeaways.

Braine also spent five years at William Paterson University from January 2008 through April 2013 as the the Pioneers Defensive Coordinator. He coached several defensive units that ranked in the top-10 in NCAA Division III in pass defense, total defense and scoring defense.

Prior to William Paterson, Braine was the Defensive Coordinator at Northern Michigan University for two years after serving as the Linebackers coach at the Michigan Technological Institute. He has also served as a defensive coach at South Dakota and Ferrum College in Virginia.
Coach Mitchell Jonke

Mitchell Jonke joined the Saint Anselm College football staff in March 2022 as its Running Backs Coach.

He comes to the Hilltop from Hardin-Simmons University where he served as the Graduate Assistant coach for quarterbacks and tight ends during the 2021 season. Jonke helped the coaching staff develop an offense that logged 41.3 points per game alongside 433 total offensive yards per tilt.

Helping the team to a 9-1 record and a No. 7 ranking, the Cowboys achieved a final ranking of No. 7 in NCAA Division III. With the Cowboys, Jonke ran positional meetings, assisted with the breakdown of film and assisted with the team's equipment needs.

Jonke owns five years of college playing and coaching experience at NCAA Division I Brown, where he graduated in the spring of 2021 with a bachelor's degree. As a student assistant coach in his final semester at Brown, he worked closely with the young quarterbacks on the roster, assisted with on-field drills, and was a contributor during film breakdown and study to the Ivy League program.

He is currently pursuing his M.B.A. at Hardin-Simmons.
Coach Joe Bick

Joseph Bick joined the Saint Anselm College football program prior to the 2022 campaign as an Offensive Quality Control Coach.

He comes to the Hilltop from Kean, working as a Graduate Assistant Coach with the team’s tight ends and wide receivers at various points during his tenure. Assisting the Offensive Coordinator for the Cougars, Bick organized practices, assisted with game planning and created scouting reports.

As a student-athlete at Kean, the two-time New Jersey Athletic Conference Second Team All-League selection secured numerous academic plaudits for his work in the classroom. Inducted into the prestigious Hampshire Honor Society in 2018, the Chi Alpha Sigma inductee was a two-time Academic Honor Roll pick.

A two-time Academic Honor Roll pick during his time in the NJAC, Bick was also inducted into the National College Athlete Honor Society and was a McKinley Boston Award recipient, issued to a distinguished student-athlete for excellence in leadership and dedication. He ended his academic career at Kean as a Student Assistant Coach for the Cougars.

Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, a concentration in Policing, and a minor in Public Administration in 2018, he received his Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Kean’s Nathan Weiss Graduate College in 2021.

Instruction will develop fundamentals and advanced skills, focusing on footwork, specific positions, team play, and game situations.

2024 CAMP INFORMATION

Dates: June 24-27, 2024
Age Group: 3rd Grade-8th Grade
Camp Type: Day Camp
Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 9:00am-3:00pm - optional early drop off 8am-9am and late pick up 3pm-5pm (Additional Fees)
Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the camp start time.
Meals: Lunch is provided.
Camp will be held in Grappone Stadium Monday-Wednesday. Thursday will be held at Melucci Field (soccer stadium)

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY

Offensive Skills: Specific Position Skill Work, Hand-Eye Coordination, Ball Handling and Position, Passing Drills, Catching Drills, Proper Grip and Throwing, Running Routes
Defensive Skills: Specific Position Skill Work, Explanation of Defenses (Zone/Man-to-Man), Footwork
Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are initially grouped by age and moved around accordingly based on skill level.
Facility: Outdoor Fields. Indoor facilities are available during inclement weather conditions.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRAVEL

Nike Football Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT

If you have a group of campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during checkout. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.
