at Contact Football Camps

The Contact Football Skills Camp at UMass Dartmouth is designed for youth football players looking to improve their skills in a safe and controlled setting.

Head Coach Mark Robichaud serves as director and is joined by other coaches and players from the Corsairs Staff.  Youth Football and High School Football players will train at the positions of their choice while being educated on the proper fundamentals and techniques to ensure safety and education.

    Mark Robichaud enters his 11th season as head coach of the UMass Dartmouth football program. Robichaud was named the third football coach in program history in 2007.

Camp Details

The goal of the Contact Football Camps is to provide football skills camps across the country that not only protect and educate our youth athletes but also provide them with highest quality football instruction possible.

Saturday: 1 p.m. at the dorms.   All Campers including Day Campers may stay until 9 p.m. on Saturday.   Dinner is included.  


Tuesday: 12 p.m. following the final session.


The Day Only Program runs 1 p.m. - 9 p.m on Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday and Monday, and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday.  All Day Campers receive Dinner Saturday and lunch Sunday and Monday.


Water Bottle


Campers need a full set of football equipment - helmet, shoulder pads, two jerseys (one light/one dark), pants and pads, football shoes (NO metal-tip cleats), athletic supporter, cup and mouthpiece. For campers without equipment, Contact Football Camp has equipment for rent prior to camp at $150 per set (helmet, shoulder pads, pants and pads) and $175 per set if rented on the first day of camp. Individual pieces of equipment are available at $50 per item.


A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. The Health and Release Forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp and every camper must have one to participate in camp.

Contact Football Umass Dartmouth Facility

Cressy Field

In July of 2016, a new, state-of-the-art playing surface and surrounding field area was completed on Cressy Field. In collaboration with SPRINTURF,  Campers will have the opportunity to train and play daily on this new field!
