Don’t miss your chance this summer to make new friendships and receive elite-level training at our Nike Contact Football Camp Huntsville AL. Young athletes will have a great opportunity to improve in all components of the game with Director Derek Brouillette and his staff. They will ensure a positive and encouraging atmosphere each day as campers have a great time competing with each other. Each day, campers will develop fundamentals and advanced skills, focusing on footwork, offensive and defensive skills, individual positions, team plays, and game situations.

Note: There is no rental equipment available. Each camper will need to bring their own equipment.

Director Derek Brouillette

Derek has been a coach at Sterling College over the last three seasons. He has held multiple positions during his time at Sterling and contributed in many ways. He started as the RB Coach, transitioned to QB Coach, then to Offensive QC and Directors of Football Operations. This past year he also coached the kickoff return for special teams which led to Sterling’s returner being named KCAC Special Teams Player of the Year and 2nd Team AFCA All- American.

Prior to that time Derek coached in Huntsville, AL at various schools and organizations. He was the offensive coordinator for the Huntsville Rockets which won the conference championship in 2019 while he was coaching the team. He coached at Whitesburg Christian Academy, Brindlee Mountain, Grissom High School, Madison Academy, and Liberty Middle School. That is why he wants to give back to the community in AL!
Assistant Director Sean Watson

Sean Watson hails from Panama City, Florida, where he proudly attended Rutherford High School. Recognized for his exceptional football skills, he secured a scholarship to Baylor University in Waco, Texas. However, after a year, he made the decision to transfer to Jacksonville State University, where he became an integral part of the Conference Championship Team in 2011.

During his time at Jacksonville State, Watson also became a distinguished member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated. His academic journey culminated in the completion of a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education.

In pursuit of his passion for football, Watson briefly ventured into the Canadian Football League, joining the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2016. Subsequently, he embarked on a new chapter in the Arena Football League, showcasing his skills with the Green Bay Blizzard and Jacksonville Sharks.

Transitioning into coaching, Watson commenced his career as the Defensive Line coach at Grissom High School in 2020. The following year, he took on the roles of Special Teams Coordinator and Defensive Line Coach at Albertville High School. In 2022, he further honed his expertise as the Defensive Line coach at Clay-Chalkville before ultimately assuming the esteemed position of head football coach at Columbia High School.

Beyond his professional achievements, Watson finds joy in his personal life. He is happily married to Damita and cherishes his role as a devoted father to four wonderful children: Khloe, Lauryn, Madeline, and Sean III.
Coach Joshua Reeves

Coach Reeves is the Defensive Line Coach for the Hoover Bucs and will also be an Assistant Coach for Indoor Track. Prior to coming to Hoover High School, he coached at Albertville High School. Coach Reeves is from Kannapolis, NC where he attended A.L. Brown High School and was a 4 year starter at Lenoir-Rhyne University. He graduated with a BA degree in Sociology and Human Community Services. He received his Masters in Special Education from Alabama A&M University.

This will be his 14th year as a coach and during this time has had the privilege of coaching multiple collegiate athletes in his career. He enjoys spending time with his family and making a difference in the lives of those whom he encounters. His favorite quote is “Aspire to Inspire before you Expire”.

Nike Contact Football Camps feature full contact drills and scrimmages with a staff of college coaches and players. At camp, "contact" is introduced in a slow, gradual progression before any actual "contact" is initiated. Campers are divided according to age, weight, and ability.

The instruction stresses both individual positions and team play with every camper.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-4:00pm
Check-In: 30 minutes prior to camp start time.
Meals: Lunch will be catered in every day by local restaurants

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

Daily Football Instruction
Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY

Instruction: Offensive skill rotation, Defensive skill rotation, Special Teams, team play, 7 on 7 gameplay, and Inside Run for Linemen and Running Backs. The last day will be competitions and game simulations
Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are initially grouped by age and moved around accordingly based on skill level.
Facility: Outdoor Fields.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRAVEL

Nike Football Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT

If you have a group of campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during checkout. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.
