Golf Masters Prospect Camp to be held at Nemacolin Resort in Farmington, PA with staff of Ivy League golf coaches.

April 4, 2019 – US Sports Camps Inc. and Golf Masters have announced the creation of an instructional college golf prospect camp for competitive boys aspiring to play at the NCAA level. The curriculum is designed to give tournament-level players an opportunity to learn from and interact with head coaches from some of America’s top academic institutions. Participants spend two days working directly with the coaching staff at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, home of two Pete Dye Championship courses.

“This program will serve a segment of juniors golfers who compete at a high level and want to pursue college golf,” states VP of US Sports Camps, Nicholas Brunner. “Between the amazing staff of Ivy League coaches, top-rated golf facility and a proven prospect camp curriculum, this will be a special opportunity for young players. The Golf Masters Camp team has seen tremendous success operating prospect camps and we’re thrilled to be offering this program alongside them.”

The boys prospect camp has commitment from four Ivy League men’s golf coaches, listed below:

  • Will Green - Head Coach, Princeton University
  • Colin Sheehan - Head Coach, Yale University
  • Michael Hughes - Head Coach, Brown University
  • Rich Parker - Head Coach, Dartmouth College

The camp format includes hands-on instruction and training from the coaching staff (key swing fundamentals, best practice techniques, on-course strategy and fitness/nutrition) along with 36 holes of competitive golf at Nemacolin Resort. The daily schedule also includes round-table discussion sessions on topics such as the road to college golf, attitude and teamwork and using analytics to improve. Participants will gain valuable insight into how to navigate the recruiting process, what to expect as a college-athlete and expectations at high-academic schools. Every player is guaranteed to be seen and evaluated by each head coach, a critical component to the curriculum according to Golf Masters Camps Co-Founder, Graham Leveston.

“We are excited about this new strategic partnership with US Sports Camps. Together, we will create a world class experience for every player that attends. Finding guaranteed exposure to and interaction with these Ivy League coaches is not easy. The Golf Masters camp platform will provide an incredible opportunity for all players that have the desire to play for an Ivy League School,” says Leveston.

Graham Leveston is the co-founder of College Properties Group, a national event management and brand development company, where CPG work intimately with world-class coaches. CPG has hosted instructional prospect and ID Camps in lacrosse and soccer, utilizing their decades of experience in the sports world, most notably at Nike Inc.

Golf Masters Northeast Boys Prospect Camp runs July 29 – 30, 2019. The camp tuition is $1,395 per player which includes all golf instruction, course play, discussion seminars and some meals. This camp is open to boys with graduation years 2020-2025 (grades 7 through 12).
