Andy is the Director of Pickleball for the state of Florida and currently competes on the APP and PPA tour in men’s and mixed doubles.

Coach Brandon Hubschman

From playing after work with neighbors at the community courts, Brandon now travels the country playing tournaments, holding U.S. Open, National Championships, World Pickleball Open and World Pickleball Championship medals, as well as others.

Brandon Hubschman was born and raised in South Florida, leaving only for college where he attended High Point University in North Carolina. Playing sports his whole life, Brandon discovered the game of pickleball post graduation via his fiancé Taylor Niss' parents, who thought he’d love it as he does any sport. That was indeed the case.

Brandon and Taylor built a thriving pickleball program at Boca Bridges starting in 2021 and now oversee pickleball at Valencia Bay in Boynton Beach. The two instruct a booming South Florida pickleball community, from kids to recreational players, with Brandon enjoying high-level instruction and strategic tournament preparation the most.

Brandon, a graphic designer by trade, is the head of design for Selkirk, the biggest name in paddle manufacturing in the sport, where he doubles as one of their sponsored athletes. He finds it rewarding being able to help create the next generation of pickleball equipment from his office, then take it out to the courts to instruct and compete.

We offer fun weekends of Adult Day Camp for players ages 18+ of all skill levels. Camp includes on court pickleball instruction, chalk talks and offers programs for advanced beginner, intermediate and advanced level players.

Camp will cover: Grips, stroke development, dink shot, serves & returns, specialty shots, rules and etiquette and much more!

CAMP PROGRAM

Advanced Beginner and Intermediate skill levels

Camp is geared towards adult players of all levels. Upon arrival all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the weekend.

No Man's Land: 5th shot, defense and transitioning to offense

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

Welcome Package: All campers receive a Nike Pickleball Camps t-shirt
Instruction: 3+ hours of court time including instruction and match play, 1 hour of chalk talks
Meals: Lunch is included for all campers for 2023. 2024 camps are shorter and cheaper, they do not include lunch.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY

Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
Equipment Needed: All campers must bring a pickleball paddle, athletic shoes, and a water bottle
Facility: Plantation Central Park's outdoor pickleball courts
Medical Protocol: In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS

Book early for the best room rates! These are Day Camps and only run during the hours listed above. The camp tuition DOES NOT include housing. Campers are required to provide their own overnight accommodations.
