The Nike Adult Pickleball Camp at Owen Brown Tennis Club is the perfect location for players to learn and improve their skills in one of the fastest growing sports in America!
This adult pickleball camp offers two 3-hour sessions designed to address your specific needs, increase your knowledge of the game and help you improve in a fun and friendly environment.

Collin Johns holds a current ranking of #5 in the Professional Pickleball Association rankings and most recently captured the 2021 US Open title in Men’s Pro Doubles.

Camp Director Sonny Tannan
Sonny has been coaching and playing sports since his days in college. He transitioned from coaching as a tennis pro in various tennis clubs, to Nike and eventually to the sport of pickleball.

Camp Director Eric White
Eric, a PPR certified teaching professional, has been playing pickleball for over 7 years and currently carries a 5.0+ rating. He won a bronze medal at the US Open in the 5.0 division (19-49 year division) at the age of 46 and is the USAPA Ambassador for Calvert County, Maryland.

Camp Details
We offer one-day weekend Adult Clinics for players over the age of 18. Camp includes 3 hours of pickleball instruction and offers programs for intermediate and advanced level players.
Camp will cover: Transition shots to the NVZ, Game strategy, Tactical shot selection, Attacking/Defending/Resets, and much more!

CAMP PROGRAM
Intermediate (3.0-3.5) & Advanced (4.0+) skill levels
Camp is geared towards adult players of intermediate and advanced levels. Upon arrival, all participants will be placed in groups of similar skill levels so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the clinic.
CAMP SCHEDULE
October 10 (Sunday), Morning Session
- 8:30am - 11:30am: Pickleball instruction and play
October 10 (Sunday), Afternoon Session
- 4:00pm - 7:00pm: Pickleball instruction and play
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Welcome Package: All campers receive a Nike Sports Camp t-shirt and prizes
- Instruction: 3 hours of court time including instruction and match play
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
- Equipment Needed: All campers must bring a pickleball paddle, athletic shoes and a water bottle
- Facility: Columbia Association, Owen Brown Tennis Club
- Medical Protocol: In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital
OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS
Book early for the best room rates! These are Day Camps and only and run during the hours listed above. The camp tuition DOES NOT include housing. Campers are required to provide their own overnight accommodations.
CAMP INFORMATION PACKET
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers. Our health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.
