at Nike Pickleball Camps

Join top ranked senior pro, Rick Witsken, and his amazing staff this spring in Mesa, AZ! Bell Bank Park offers an incredible facility with 41 pickleball courts and a 2,000 seat pickleball stadium.

This adult pickleball camp is a 3-day clinic designed to address your specific needs, increase your knowledge of the game and help you get better in a fun and friendly environment. Come alone or come as a group, there's no better atmosphere to improve your game!

    Rick Witsken

    Camp Director

    Top ranked Senior Pro, Co-Founder of the National Pickleball League (NPL), winner of over 100 Senior and Open Pro Medals, and director of over 50 camps Rick Witsken. Rick is currently ranked #1 on the APP Senior Pro Men’s Standings. He is the proud founder and owner of Team Witsken, which has run indoor tennis programs in Indianapolis and its surrounding area communities for the past 16 years. In addition to tennis, Team Witsken also offers Pickleball programs for all ages and levels. He is the seventh of eight children, was a two-time Indiana State Champion in singles and was one of four siblings to earn full tennis scholarships to a Division I school. At the University of Alabama, Rick was a two-time All-American, reaching the No. 1 doubles ranking in the country. Rick currently has a podcast RipSken Pickleball, posts many instructional videos as well via the Midwest Pickleball club. He also founded/funded the first public scholastic middle school pickleball team at Zionsville Middle School.

    Rick Witsken

    Camp Director

    Rick was world-ranked on the ATP Tour in both singles and doubles. He began his post-playing career working with his brother, Todd Witsken, at the Indianapolis Tennis Center, serving as Tennis Director and coach of the IUPUI men's tennis team.

    Rick enjoys competing. He has 15 Gold medals at the Pro level in singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles, including Gold medals with Dave Weinbach and Simone Jardim. He is a two-time Gold medalist at the US Open. Rick is the proud father to three children Brittany, Peyton, and Colin who all play tennis.

Camp Details

This Adult Day Camp is geared towards players of all skill levels. Camp includes over 12 hours of pickleball instruction.

Camp will cover: Grips, stroke development, dink shot, serves & returns, specialty shots, rules and etiquette and much more!

CAMP SCHEDULE

  • Check-in: 11:00am at the Pickleball Courts each day
  • Check-out: 5:00pm at the Pickleball Courts each day
  • Camp Program: Tuesday-Thursday 11:00am-1:30pm and 2:30pm-4:30pm

CAMP PROGRAM

Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced skill levels

Camp is geared towards adult players of all levels. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the weekend.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Welcome Package: All campers receive a Pickleball Camps t-shirt and prizes
  • Instruction: 13.5 hours of court time including instruction and match play

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY

  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
  • Equipment Needed: All campers must bring a pickleball paddle, athletic shoes, and a water bottle
  • Facility: Bell Bank Park powered by Legacy Sports

OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS

These are Day Camps and only run during the hours listed above. The camp tuition DOES NOT include housing. Campers are required to provide their own overnight accommodations.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

  • Athletic, on-court pickleball clothing

  • Pickleball Paddle(s)

  • Comfortable court shoes (no running shoes)

  • Sweatshirt/warm-up jacket and pants

  • Water bottle

  • Sunscreen

  • Snacks (optional)

  • Signed Health & Release forms and waivers (forms completed online do not need to be printed and turned in at camp)
