Nike Softball Camps is thrilled to be back at Carlmont High School with Director Steve Rianda! Join us for an action-packed week of camp and improve all aspects of your game. This camp gives softball players of all abilities, the opportunity to continue playing softball this summer! Rianda, Head Varsity Softball Coach at Carlmont High School, is ready to bring his knowledge of the game to all athletes. The camp will cover all aspects of softball, making it a great environment to learn skills and make new friends.

Camp Director Steve Rianda
Steve Rianda is the Head Varsity Softball Coach at Carlmont High School. After a long college coaching career Coach Rianda returned to his alma matter to begin his high school coaching. In 2022 his Carlmont team won the Division III CCS title and in 2023 Carlmont won the CCS title.

Coach Sarissa Block
Sarissa Block is a Sophomore at Cal State East Bay. She is a starting outfielder for the Pioneers. Block is currently majoring in Kinesiology. Sarissa graduated from Carlmont High School in 2022, where she played three years of varsity softball.

Coach Brooke Surbough
Brooke is a Sophomore at Denison University. She is the starting pitcher and DH, majoring in Politics and Public Affairs, and Economics. Brooke graduated from Saint Ignatius High School in 2022 and in her freshman year Brooke won various awards: 2023 First-Team All-NCAC, 2023 NCAC All-Tournament Team, and 2022-23 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete

Coach Emerson Seevers
Emerson is a freshman at Denison University. She is a catcher and utility position player, majoring in Health Exercise and Sport Science. Emerson graduated from Sequoia High School in 2023. She played four years of varsity softball, was the ASB Spirit Commissioner, and received the Lifetime Leadership Award at Sequoia High School.
Camp Details
Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-3:00pm
- Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the camp start time.
- Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a snack/lunch to camp each day.

Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.
Facility: Outdoor Fields.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Softball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.
