Our summer Softball Camp at the University of Nevada, Reno presents campers with the opportunity to experience a fun training environment to improve fielding and hitting skills. Our fastpitch day camp on the campus of UNR is the ideal location for any athlete looking to cultivate team spirit and develop long-lasting friendships!

Head Coach Linda Garza
Linda Garza has been named head coach of the Nevada softball program, Director of Athletics Doug Knuth announced on July 2, 2021.

Ohta is a former assistant softball coach at the University of Nevada where he managed the outfield, catching, and hitting for the Pack.

Assistant Coach Marina Denmore
A native of Vancouver, British Colombia, Demore joins Garza coaching staff after spending a season at Northern Kentucky University serving as a pitching coach.

Camp Details
Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, specific position fielding, base-running, and game situations. In addition, pitchers will have the opportunity to work with pitching instructors. You can expect high demand on these first-come-first-serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

CAMP INFORMATION
- Dates: Camp will not be returning. Please check back in 2024.
- Age Group: 9-14
- Gender: Girls
- Camp Type: Day Camp
- Schedule: 9:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Thursday
- Check-In: 15 minutes prior to camp start time
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a sack lunch to camp each day.
INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are initially grouped by age and moved around accordingly based on skill level.
Facility: Outdoor Fields. Indoor facilities are available during inclement weather conditions.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Softball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a group of campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during checkout. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.
