Nike Softball Camps
Register for the Nike Softball Camp in Bend, OR and enjoy top-notch coaching while making memories to last a lifetime. Open to players of all ability levels, the camp offers a unique opportunity to train under the direction of experienced coaches from renowned institutions in a fun, competitive environment. This camp takes place at the brand-new OSU Cascade campus in beautiful Westside Bend.
Overnight Camp
The overnight program includes instruction, fun games and competitions for prizes, overnight accommodation, all meals, fun evening activities, and more. The camp staff resides in the dormitories in adjacent rooms to the campers and provides supervision throughout the camp. The camp utilizes Big Sky Park as its training facility.
Day Camp (9:00am – 4:00pm)
The High Cascade Nike Softball Camp at Oregon State University, Cascades, also offers a day camp program for campers who do not wish to stay overnight. This option includes instruction and daytime activities only. The schedule is modified on the first and last days of camp.
The High Cascade Nike Softball Camp is open to any and all entrants and limited only by number, age and gender. The High Cascade Nike Softball Camp is not owned, sponsored, co-sponsored or controlled by the University. Campers may be transported from campus to nearby athletic facilities by bus each day.

Westy McQueen is the owner and camp director for Next Athletes, operator of Nike Sports Camps. Westy has over 10 years of experience operating youth programs and has designed the Next Athletes programs with the purpose of providing a truly memorable, athletic development experience for each child.

Assistant Softball Coach, Biola University Kayla Neff
Kayla Neff is the assistant softball coach at Biola University and serves as a support staff member for Next Athletes and Nike Softball Camps.

Certified Athletic Trainer Kulsum Baig
Kulsum Baig is a certified athletic trainer and handles all athletic training needs for Next Athletes’ Nike Sports Camps. With a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from San Diego State University and a Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Injury Management from the University of Kentucky, Kulsum has worked with athletes at the high school, collegiate, and clinical levels.

Camp Details
Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

2025 SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION
- Dates: August 3-7, 2025
- Age Group: 8-17 (Day Camp) | 10-17 (Overnight)
- Camp Type: Day Camp & Overnight
- Day Camp Schedule: Sunday-Thursday
- Meals: Meals are provided for overnight campers only. Day campers are required to bring their own lunch daily.
CAMP TIMES
- Overnight Campers Check-in: 11:30am-12:00pm at the Edward J. Ray Hall at Oregon State University, Cascades
- Day Campers Check-in: 12:00-12:30pm for day campers at the Edward J. Ray Hall at Oregon State University, Cascades
- Day Camp Schedule: Sunday, 12:00-4:00pm; Monday-Wednesday, 8:00am-4:00pm; Thursday, 8:00am-12:30pm. Check-out is following the 12:30pm closing ceremony.
- Orientation (All Campers): 12:30-12:45pm
- All campers should arrive at check-in dressed in their athletic apparel and ready to train.
- Last Day Check-out: Following the closing ceremony at 12:30pm on Thursday at the Edward J. Ray Hall at Oregon State University, Cascades
- Closing Ceremony: The closing ceremony will take place at the Edward J. Ray Hall. Parents are invited to attend! Campers and parents will depart following the closing ceremony.
Please Note: Following camp check-in, all overnight campers will have an opportunity to move into their room in the residence hall briefly but please come dressed in your athletic apparel for camp.
HOUSING
Dorm: The Residence Hall at Oregon State University, Cascades
Campers Per Room: 2
Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be received no later than 14 days before the start of camp. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
Linens: Not included. Bring linens (Twin XL) or sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel.
Air Conditioning: None. Campers are in their dorms for very limited hours during the daytime and nightly temperatures are typically mild. However, campers are welcome to bring a small fan
Please bring a $50 check made out to “Next Athletes, LLC”
PARENT/CAMPER SEMINARS
Both campers and parents are invited to join us for evening educational seminars during the week. Seminar topics will include college recruiting, expectations of a college athlete, and the different paths kids can take in sports. We also offer opportunities for Q&A with each panel of coaches.

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.
Facility: Outdoor Fields.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Softball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.
